zach pulled up to lainey's house. she was an old high school friend. he quickly got out going to the front door and knocked.

"hey zach," she said.

"hi," he smiled, walking in.

"so are you sure your girlfriend is okay with us hanging out?" she asked.

"yea, she is," he smiled.

"i was just wondering, i don't want to see you behind her back," she said.

"i understand and she's completely fine with it,"

"well i'm hosting a party in a week, i hope you can make it, and bring kennedy," she smiled.

"okay, i'll ask her," he smiled. "well i should get going, it's getting late."

"you're right, i'll see you in a week," she smiled.

he made his way back to the why don't we house.
he knew the boys were asleep so he quietly went to his room, taking a quick shower and going to sleep.
