Prologue

Midoriya and Bakugo landed next to each other, followed by pro heroes Fat Gum and Ms. Joke who were running to them. They stopped right next to the duo and caught some breath.

<You guys are getting faster than us pro heroes! It makes me feel old!> the woman said, chuckling a little and looking at the two.
<Well, that's good! It means they're improving.> Fat Gum added, smiling at the two students.
<Thanks Fat Gum!> Midoriya exclaimed, smiling back at the 2 heroes.
<Tch, let's get moving or that bastard will run away!> Bakugo barked back, glaring at the direction in which the villain went.

Everyone nodded at his statement and they kept following the little rascal.

Midoriya and Bakugo were in a work study with two pro heroes, the green haired boy with Ms. Joke and the blond with fat Gum. In fact, on Kirishima's reccomendation, Bakugo decided to go to him for a change and Fat Gum agreed to let him do the work study with him: he wanted to know a little better the angry gremlin Kirishima always talked about. Midoriya, instead, to learn more about all the heroes and also to train different styles of combat, always chose a different hero each time he went on a work study and this time it was Ms. Joke's turn. She gladly accepted his request, she thought he was a sweet ray of sunshine!

Unluckly a villain with an unkown quirk had struck again and for a while pro heroes had tried to catch him. This time Ms. Joke and Fat gum were encharged to catch him and they decided to bring the 2 students with them.

Suddenly, Midoriya stopped, blocking everyone else.
<Wait, we'll never catch him this way.> he said firmly, turning back to face the group.

<Let's split up.> he then said, with a serious face.
<But we need to be in pairs, dumbass, what if-> Bakugo told him but Midoriya interrupted him immediately and explained the plan he had in mind:
<Hear me out. Let's round him up on two sides: Fat Gum and Ms. Joke, run towards him and distract him, while I catch him and Bakugo keeps an eye on him, menacing him with his explosions.> 
<Seems like a decent plan. There's no time to waste, let's go.> Bakugo said, gaining the approval of everyone once again.

It still feels weird, to have Bakugo actually cooperate with me and agree with me.... But it makes me happy... That finally we somewhat get along and that we forgave each other. Midoriya thought, smiling just a little.

<Hey nerd! Concentrate or we'll never catch this goddamned asshole!> Bakugo yelled to his classmate, making him slightly jump.
<Ah.. Yes, Kacchan sorry!> he answered, while they sneaked around stealthily.

This nerd... It isn't bad to work with him though, it's definetly more productive to fight him all the time. Still... I have the feeling something is not quite right yet. Is there something he won't tell me or...? Bakugo thought, still concentrated on the task.
Finally the two reached the end of the small alley they were hiding in. Both peeked a little and saw the villain standing in the middle of the road, completely alone, with the bags with the stolen things around him and looking a little nervously around.

<This bastard... He is giving us quite a hard time dammit. Deku, did you get or not what his quirk is?> the blond asked under his breath, making sure that the man didn't hear them: he knew that Deku was way better at figuring out quirks just by observating the behaviours of people.
Midoriya thought to himself for a little while, before answering: he wanted to make sure to count all the factors.

So... I saw a few people get hit with his quirk but it seems like the quirk makes someone de-age... to a certain age. It isn't often the same, although he always attacks by slapping the victim in its face. Does he decide when to de-age someone or is it randomly? Mhm, doesn't seem like that... I think he also needs to actually TOUCH someone to activate his quirk, so he works close range. My strategy will definetely work then! I also saw that the people who were hit completely forgot important events in their lives: for example a woman in her fourties who was hit, de-aged to her mid-twenties, claiming to not remeber giving birth to her two children nor to have gotten married... So it's not just deaging, the quirk works on something else-
