"Andrew, ready for launch?" I called from the ceiling rafters.

"Yeah, they should be here any second!" Andrew Parks called from the opposite rafter as he finished tying a string to the bucket full of pink glitter.

I had no idea how he'd gotten his hands on so much pink glitter, but when Nico and Will walked through the Apollo cabin door it was going to be hilarious.

"There!" Andrew said as he sat back up on the cedar beam he was perched on, swiping his golden hair out of his face so he could actually see through his glasses. "This is going to be awesome!"

It had been almost a week since I knocked myself out on the beach with Will and Nico. Since then, I was stuck in the Apollo cabin. Though it wasn't all waiting for everyone to return each afternoon. Will had gotten almost everyone to 'volunteer' to keep me company, while everyone else did whatever you do at a demigod camp.

My new cabin mates took time alternating watching me and teaching me stuff. Like, Kayla had set up an indoor archery range and tried to teach me the art of shooting pointy sticks at a target. That activity had been banned when I just about skewered Will…

Austin, one of the Apollo boys, let me bang around on a drum set he made magically appear. Mckenna gave me acting lessons which mostly consisted of dramatic skits in front of her teddy bear collection. Addy told me stories about the gods and heroes--which helped way more than Hermes's little thirty seconds powerpoint at the beginning of my trip. Surprisingly, Katelyn gave me singing lessons (which I was horrible at. She literally said I sounded like a dying banshee with a head cold).

Though all of that time was enjoyable, I really loved the time I had with Will and Andrew. Yes, Will gave me lectures on medical stuff. Yes, he said many words I didn't know--though sometimes I couldn't tell if they were medical terms or not. But he was actually pretty cool.

Ah, but the time I spent with Andrew was the best. Andrew was fourteen--almost fifteen--with dirty blond hair that went just past his ears. He had a splash of freckles on his nose and black and yellow glasses he made obvious that he hated. He was funny, smart, and had an aura of happiness that followed him around. Though he did get really annoying when he talked non stop about his friend Riley Indearment. Andrew and I had become buddies in crime--even if no one knew it was us who covered the inside of everyone's bedsheets with wax. Or that it’d been our idea (with the help of a printer) to paste hundreds of pictures of Grumpy Cat all over the cabin.

"Sh! I think I see them coming." I said, peering out the window.

     Yes, targets acquired.

Will and Nico were walking hand in hand (ew, love) towards our cabin. I glanced at their surroundings, wishing I could go see all the cabins which had a bunch of cool designs to represent the god whose kids resided there. I also wanted to go sit by the fire in the middle of the court yard which was blazing a dozen different colors.

But I couldn't. No one had allowed me outside in the seven days I'd been there, and nobody would tell me why I couldn't breathe fresh air. I took a deep breath and pushed the thought aside, right now I had to concentrate on covering Nico in pink glitter.

Andrew handed the string attached to the bucket of glitter to me. When Will and Nico walked through the door, I would pull the string and BAM! two glitter covered love-bugs.
