"Morning, Red..." Blue mutters, rubbing his eyes. As per usual Red doesn't reply but that doesn't bother Blue in the slightest. Blue, instead, goes into kitchen and gets out some pecha berries. Blue turns around to see Red towering over him even though he's just a few inches taller. "Red! You scared me! You know I don't like to be scared!" Blue exlcaims. Red looks at the pecha berry in Blue's hand. "Oh? You want one? Here," Blue says, holding it out to him. Red doesn't take the berry but instead, points to his mouth. Blue stares for a second before turning bright red. "Haha very funny! I'm not feeding you!" A shadow casts over Red's masculine face causing Blue to sigh.

Red puts his hand on the marble counter behind Blue, trapping the shorter man. Blue realises how close Red's face is to his. "H-Hey... what're you doing..?" Red grabs Blue's forearm and lifts it up. He takes a bite out of the pecha berry. Blue calms down and focuses his eyes on the face of the one in front of him. Red looks so content chewing the berry, which is honestly cute. "Cute? Aw man. His charm is getting to me..." Blue thinks before giving Red a kunik.

Red seems surprised by the gesture Blue just did and he leans in. "You... you want another one?" Red nods. Blue gives Red another kunik and the latter closes his eyes in contentment.

There's a knock at the front door. "Boys~ It's Daisy with some interesting news!" Blue groans. He doesn't want to deal with his sister asking questions about some Pokemon she heard about that's in the Unova or kalos region or something. She should just get up and travel there herself. Red opens the door for the brunette to only to instantly be engulfed in a hug from her. "WAAAA! MY BIG BROTHERS ARE LEAVING MEEEEEEEEE!" Daisy cries. This is new. Blue stands in the doorframe of his kitchen and stays there, watching and listening to his sister.

"Professor Oak said that you guys are going awayyyyy!" She cries some more. Red is uncomfortable and tries to escape from the hug Daisy is giving him but Blue watches him struggle in amusement. "Going away to where?" Blue asks. "Actually, both of you just have to say no and then you don't have to go! Yippee!" Daisy exclaims, pulling back and jumping into the air with her limbs spread out. "Daisy, where is he sending us?" Blue asks. "He told me to come here and tell you two to visit him. I wasn't supposed to break the news... whoops!" She laughs it off like it was a really funny joke while Blue and Red leave the house.

The two walk to the Pokemon Lab with their Pokemon, Pikachu and Arcanine, by their sides. Blue remembers the time Red left him for 3 years to train on Mt. Silver. He doesn't want that to happen again. "So, uh, Red. If you're sent someplace different from me then I should accompany you! Because... you'll need help communicating. Sound like a plan?" Blue asks. Red grabs the shorter boy's hand and starts drawing words onto Blue hand with his finger. Blue turns bright red. Red had said, "If you're afraid of being seperated from me then just tell me. I'm always listening." Blue hides his face in his hands. "Arghh! Why must you always make me this embarrassed?!"

The four arrive at the Pokemon Lab and are instantly greeted by Professor Oak. "Boys! Joyous day! I got a call from my cousin in the Alola region!" Oak exclaims. Arcanine takes a rest next to Oak's feet. "Well aren't you just as laid-back as ever?" The professor says while bending down to pet the tired Pokemon. "I've never heard of the Alola region. What's it like, gramps?" Blue asks. "It's made of up of 4 main tropical islands! My cousin requested that you to come to occupy the positions of the two strongest trainers in the Battle Tree," Oak explains. Pikachu, who was quiet up until now, squeals. Red and Blue turn around to see Pikachu playing with an Arcanine. "Who's is that?" Blue asks. "It's a Pokemon who was abandoned by its trainor a while back," Oak explains. Blue, feeling nice, wakes up his Arcanine to go and play with the two.

"Anyways, back to what we were talking about. What is the Battle Tree?" Blue asks, turning back to his grandfather. "It's like the Battle Tower. Uh, I wanted to tell you sooner but Daisy told me not to," Oak informs. Blue clenches his fist, vowing to destroy Daisy someday.

Red and Blue walk hurridly back to their house, their Pokemon running to keep up. "Geez! Stupid Daisy! Now we have hardly any time to pack!" The energetic boy shouts. Red watches him go on a rant with a small smile. Sometimes, Blue is just too adorable for him to handle.
