Blue takes off his sunglasses to see better. The Alola region really is tropical. "I know we don't have to start doing our jobs until 5 days from now so how about we start off sightseeing tomorrow?" Blue suggests. Red nods his head quickly, glad he can spend more time with his beloved bestfriend.

The wooden planks underneath the two creak as they walk. "I heard that there is only one establishment on this island. And in that establishment, one house. This is so cool!" Blue exclaims, looking around. They arrived in Seafolk Village on the island guarded by Tapu Fini just a bit ago and plan to visit the other islands briefly in the 5 days they have.

"Let's get to the Battle Tree. I have a map right here," Blue says as he pulls it out. Red looks at his shorter friend then looks up. As soon as they leave Seafolk Village the sun will be shining bright. Red takes off his hat and puts it on Blue's head. "R-Red?!" Blue exclaims, blushing. Red points to the bright sun and Blue realises why he did that. "But you'll need it..." Red just smiles at his cute friend and starts to walks away.

Blue hesitantly grabs Red's hand and quickly turns his attention to a nearby bush. The silence is awkward but that gives the boys time to take in the scenery. There's a beach that a few people are on, all playing with their Pokemon. "I've never seen so many of these Pokemon before! I wonder what they are," Blue says, taking out a book he got that has information on all of the Pokemon in Alola. While watching Blue flip through the book, he spots a cute Pokemon. Red points to the aquatic bunny-like Pokemon. "Do you like this one? Pyu... kumuku. How about we find you one?" The taller boy nods contently at the suggestion.

The ground starts shaking and Blue grabs on to Red for suppord. "A-An earthquake?!" Blue exclaims. Red is just as calm as ever, turning his attention to the source of the ground shaking. A small girl is riding on the back of a huge horse-like Pokemon and is headed towards them. "C-C-Can she see?! Red, we need to move before we get plowed!" Blue shouts whilst trying to pull Red out of the way but Red, being much bigger and stronger, doesn't move an inch. Blue starts to prepare for the worst when the girl and her Pokemon slow down. They stop right in front of the men and the girl jumps down.

"You must be the ones called up for the Battle Tree!" She says. "Yeah, we are," Blue says. The girl gives a closed-eyed smile and nods. "Right! I'm Hapu, nice to meet you!" She says, holding out her hand to Blue. Blue shakes her hands and says, "I'm Blue and the silent on next to me is my bestfriend Red."

Listening to Hapu explain everything about Alola makes Blue think. No gyms? Trials? So much stuff is different in this region compared to the others. "And after you complete the trials on the island you battle the Kahuna. Basically our version of a gym leader," Hapu finishes. Blue starts feeling bad that he has Red's hat and takes it off. Red notices him do that so he takes the hat from Blue and puts it back on to his head. "Red, you need this!" Blue hisses. Red just goes back to looking at the path in front of him.

They arrive at the Battle Tree when the sun is at its highest. "This is it. I've showed you where I live so drop by anytime. Oh and here, take these," Hapu says, holding out her closed hands. Red puts his hand out and she drops something onto it. She gives one to Blue too. "What are these?" Blue asks, fiddling with the amulet. "Island Challenge Amulets. I recommend doing the challenge since it'll be fun. But before you do you might want to catch some Alolan Pokemon to become accostumed to the region, yeah?" Hapu tells them. The men nod and Hapu parts from them on the back of her Mudsdale.

"So this is where we'll be from now on? This place looks awesome!" Blue exclaims. "Are you two Red and Blue?" A lady asks. The shorter boy nods. "Right. You can take the steps on the side that'll lead you up to your room," the woman tells them. Blue and Red thank her then head to the staircase.

"Good thing we had our stuff already taken here. Don't think I would've been able to take it up the stairs," Blue says just to make small talk even though he knows Red won't reply.

The staircase is a spiral and it seems as if it takes forever to get to their destination. Blue checks his watch only to see that it's been 5 minutes. "Is my watch broken or am I just being impatient?" Blue asks himself. Red holds up two fingers. "Hey!" Blue exclaims, causing Red to smile a bit.
