Good Morning, Red; Where's Red?

Blue wakes up in the hotel room all alone. Red hadn't come back last night and he still isn't here. In the corner is Arcanine sleeping along with Petilil and Flabebe. Blue chuckles at the adorable sight and takes a photo of them.

The man gets up and showers, which probably wakes up his Pokemon. "Geez, Red. What was it? Love at first sight?" Blue mutters as he lets the water beat at his face. He hears various coos and cries from outside of the door which means his Pokemon must've woken up. He turns off the shower and gets out. He quickly dries off, gets dressed, and does his hair before leaving.

"Good morning. Who's hungry?" Blue asks. All three call out their designated cries, causing the adult to smile. He pulls out some patterned beans, which is a treat from this region that Pokemon really seem to love, and gives the smaller ones two and Arcanine four. Watching them reminds him of the time he and Red used to have lunch in a cave in Kanto when they were much younger. They played with the Pokemon there and some even followed them home, which got them a scolding from Daisy most of the time.

"Be?" Blue is snapped back into reality by his three Pokemon. "Oh, sorry. Ready to go now? We're going to look around the island," Blue tells them. Arcanine and Flabebe look around the room. "If you're looking for Red you don't have to worry about him. He's most-likely safe. He isn't weak, ya know!" The two Pokemon look at their trainer. They can sense the uncertainty in his voice but pushing it will only upset him.

When Blue and the others get out of the elevator he istantly notices the little nebula Pokemon looking up at him. "Pew!" It exclaims as it hovers up to his level. Arcanine and Flabebe look at it curiously while Petilil plays with it. "You must be a handful for those others. Come on, let's find your friends," Blue says and picks up Nebby.

The man walks around the hotel a bit because if it's in the hotel then Selene or her brother should be here, right? Arcanine starts growling at something behind him. He turns around and sees a boy who doesn't look to be any older than 13. "Hey, you there! Put down that Pokemon!" He demands quite timidly. "Wait... who are you?" Blue asks. The boy sends out a Pokemon that resembles a tiger. "Waitwaitwaitwait! I'm not looking to battle!" Blue exclaims as he steps back but Arcanine gets ready to pounce. Petilil and Flabebe ran off somewhere to hide and Nebby just continues to make its signature "Pew!" sound.

"Elio! Who's that man???" A girl with blond hair asks as she walks up to the kid with a huge bag. Elio points at Blue and the girl looks over. She gasps, "Nebby!" Blue thinks for a moment. "Elio? Where have I heard that name before..? Oh right!" "Selene's brother!" Blue exclaims. Elio seems surprised to know that he knows him. "H-How?" "I met her back in Melemele's meadow. She told me that this guy strays a lot and that if I ever found it then keep it safe," Blue tells him, holding out the small Pokemon. Elio puts his hands out for it but Nebby instantly starts crying.

The girl grabs Nebby instead, to which the little one stops crying but still looks a bit uncomfortable. "Um, sir, if you don't mind me asking, where did you find Nebby?" She asks. He points his thumb to the elevator. "It was waiting outside of the elevator. Was there someone in particular that it was looking for?" She shakes her head. "Selene had already left looking for it so that's odd..." "Speaking of her, my sister is going to be mad when she finds out about Nebby being here the whole time," Elio mumbles.

"WHAT?!"

Blue shifts to the left and sees a very, very pissed Selene. "You little shit! I will kill you if you run off again!" Selene threatens. Nebby flies out of the blond's hands and hides behind Blue. By now Flabebe and Petilil have already come back but are hiding behind Arcanine because they're still afraid of Elio. "Oh Nebby! Quit causing trouble for that man!" The blond exclaims. "Lillie, get back. I will handle this myself," Selene says as she pulls out a taser. Elio holds her back while Lillie quickly puts Nebby into the duffle bag she's carrying.

Selene calms down then pulls out an envelope from her purse. "Blue, yeah? Met Hapu and she wanted me to give you this," she says as she holds out the letter. Blue takes it. "Thanks for bringing it to me," Blue thanks. Selene looks around. "Hapu said a guy named Red would be with you too. Where is he?" "Bebe!" Flabebe cries as she looks at the door of the hotel. Blue looks too and sees Red walking in with Pikachu on his shoulder. "Well he's here now. I've got to go now. See ya guys," he waves and walks away from them, his Pokemon following.

"Red! Where were you?! Are you alright?!" Blue exclaims. Red just gives him a confused look, making him sigh. "You're just like a Pokemon. Sometimes I wonder if you can even understand words..." Pikachu looks at Blue with a worried look in its eyes. "Pikachu, do you know what happened?" Blue asks. Pikachu doesn't move. "Ughh guess it doesn't matter. Anyways, Red, last night I was looking into this place here on this island and I'm thinking that we should really go!" Blue recommends. Red shakes his head and grabs Blue's small wrist. The shorter man lets out a yelp of surprise as he's being dragged out of the hotel by his best friend.
