3rd Person POV
It was a sunny day, nothing more nothing less. An average girl, nothing more.......nothing less. But she wanted it to be more, something with meaning and light, passion, freedom, adventure, love, friendship, equality, safety.
But with the life she lives, her average life, she feels powerless. She can't change her life, she can't make it into what she wants, wake up. Get dressed. Eat breakfast. Go to school. Go home. Eat dinner. Work on homework. Get ready to sleep. Relax. Sleep. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
Repeat.....but, she stopped one day. Everything. She didn't go to school or get dressed, she just stayed in bed. And just sat, read a book or two, ate her three meals. Then sat on the couch. She looked at the black screen in front of her. She felt something, like a sinking feeling in her chest, it hurt. But why did it hurt? Was it because she did something out of order? Did she mess up? Was she going to be punished? What was going to happen now that she did something different and out of order? These questions filled her mind like a storm of thunder. Then it all just.....stopped.
The thoughts stopped. She stared at the black screen. Alone in her house, her clean, wood floored house. Empty. Empty.
She woke up. She sat on a metal table, she panicked and tried to stand but failed due to her wrists being held down along with her ankles. They had been strapped down to that metal table with metal chains. What was going on? Wasn't she in her house just a few minutes ago? Why is the room so white? Where am I? She slowly calmed down from her panicked state and looked around. A room full of white trapped her. Nothing more than a metal table and her. What happened? Where was she?
She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came. She couldn't muster up the strength to speak. She felt....weak. She sighed, accepting defeat. She couldn't help feeling a bit excited though, her life was always so boring and dull. She had no friends at school. Her parents were gone. She was raised to follow orders and not change them. That was why she had been so scared when she changed her ways that day. That day. She couldn't focus, what day? When? Was that all in her imagination? Confused and conflicted she stopped. She stopped thinking and just. Breathed. In and out. Deep and calm breaths.
As she was breathing she suddenly froze to the sound of a door opening. Her heart sank and she was terrified at that moment. She didn't dare to look at whoever came into the snow white room.
"My my, it seems you have awoken. Welcome (Y/N). Welcome to Modshio."
