Chapter 4 The 3 Amigos and a Zodiac

(Y/N) POV

I was woken up quite suddenly with a loud thump and pain hitting my stomach. "Ow..." I mumbled still on the floor. I looked up and saw Jiwa and Harvest, Harvest semi-yelling at Jiwa and Jiwa holding the blanket clearly not hiding the fact she had woken me up.

I sigh and stand up with a quick push. I look at the two of them, "Are you alright?" Harvest asks softly. I nod and look over at Jiwa, "Did you need to do that?" I asked her with a hint of annoyance laced in between my words, "No." She replied. I rolled my eyes and asked another question, "So why is it that I had to get up?" I raise a brow, "You have 9 hours left to make a decision, so I figured I might as well give you a heads up." She pushed up her glasses once more for no reason, "I already made my decision." I glance over to Harvest who seems worried for some reason, I shrug it off and look back at Jiwa, "That being?" She asks, "I'll join the Modshio Company and be the representative." I respond with. She raises an eyebrow clearly skeptical about my words but nods none the less.

I lightly sigh and ask what time it is, "11:09" Harvest says, I nod as a thank you and he gives me a smile back, "Well if your words are true then I suppose you will need to have a tour of the facility then. Along with meeting the others, or monsters per say, that you will be working, playing, talking and befriending with for the rest of the time that your representative." I just nod. She places the blanket back on the bed and makes her way towards the door with her back facing me. She stops and speaks in a harsh tone, "No expressions? No complaints? No arguments? Nothing?" She asks. I stand there very confused by what she means, "I don't clearly understand your words Ms. Jiwa, you are giving me a job to do and I'm doing it. Along with a few other personal matters, when you think about it this is the only logical and easiest card to play in my deck." I say.

There was silence in the air for a minute, the tension being so thick you could see it, "You are a strange girl (Y/N) (L/N). Harvest, if you will take miss (L/N) around the facility and make sure she meets everyone as well, and that includes in her meeting the lusus naturaes." She then proceeds to leave the room. "Lusus naturae?" I mumble, "She means freak of nature." Harvest responses, "Ms. Jiwa isn't a fan of the monsters. Before she came here there were rumors that monsters did something horrible to her when she was little." I nod, 'But if she hates monsters so much. Then why would she join a company that works with them and having their main goal of being peaceful with them. I'll assume it has something to do with her roots..' I thought.

"Well I guess I should start showing you around now huh?" He asked while looking up at me with a big smile. I give him one of my famous nods and with that we walk out of the room.

"And now theres only one place left for us to see!" He said with excitement, which honestly startled me. He was such a shy boy a few hours ago and now he's all smiley and excited. "If I may, why are you so ecstatic?" I wondered, "Oh...well because, you seem different..." He twiddled with his fingers as I replied in a nod. We walked down the hallway back to where the glass room was, with the animals still there along with the tree and a few men and woman.

We walked in and I was greeted quickly by one of the men, "Hello! My names Louis! You must be (Y/N) (L/N)!" He was loud and spoke with a lot of enthusiasm. He had short black hair that faded into pink at the tips that went well with his peach skin tone and to add on he was taller than me. He wore a white lab coat and under it was a Markiplier shirt with black shorts. I nodded and looked at the other 3 another man and two woman were taking care of the animals and doing other things. He nervously chuckled and went back to the others.

I looked down at Harvest who just smiled at me and walked over to the other guy. He looked up at me and scoffed, " This is Taurus and yes that is his real name." Harvest introduced him which earned him a glare by Taurus. He had light brown hair that stopped at his neck and his skin tone looked very pale, he also wore the same white coat as Louis but had a grey t-shirt on and some black sweat pants on. I nodded at him, "I'm (Y/N) (L-" "I know your name." He interrupted, I felt a little annoyed but I didn't let it show and just nodded. Harvest lightly chuckled and dragged me over to one of the females. "(Y/N) this is Clara!" Harvest let me go and did a 'ta da' movement with his arms. She looked over at him confused for a minute till she saw me, "Ah! My bad my bad, sorry I didn't see ya there. I'm Clara as ya heard." I nodded and looked at her appearance. She had long red hair and tanned skin. Under her white coat was a white shirt and blue jeans. "It's a pleasure to meet you." It sounded a bit monotone on accident but I didn't care. She nodded and went back to playing with one of the strange squirrels.

The last person was a girl laying on her back with short black hair and lightly tanned skin, her white coat was tied around her wait leaving her in a black crop top shirt and light grey jeans. Harvest giggled at the woman, "This is Shawna." He spoke in a whisper, I nodded and we walked over to the tree with a door in its front. I looked at it and then back at Harvest. He smiled and typed in a password that made the door open. I couldn't see anything due to a bright light coming from the door and causing me to shut my eyes.

I could hear Harvest speak, " Welcome to Tabanya!"
