The waitress in front of me looked normal... enough. She had light pink hair with rabbit ears on top, shoulder length hair, yellow eyes and... tall.
She looked shy and was hunched over slightly to—I'm assuming—look more timid.
"M-mistress?" She tilts her head slightly letting a few strands of hair fall.
'C-ccutteee' I can feel my face heat up slightly but quickly scratch the back of my head.
"My bad. I didn't mean to stare." I give the waitress a small smile earning me a blush.
I can't tell if it's because she's acting or not but I feel unsure on whether that blush was real or not.
She nods slowly, "It-it's not a problem at all m-mistress. Please d-don't apologize."
I nod and give her another smile which makes her blush darker.
'Okay now I have a good feeling that she isn't faking.' I nervously laugh and sweat drop.
"A-anyway mistress. Wh-what may I get f-for you?" She looks down and up a few times, fidgeting with her hands.
"Right, one cup of Green tea and one order of Akafuku, please and thank you."
She nodded and took out a notepad to write down my order.
"W-will that be all?" She tilted her head slightly.
'Cuuttee.' I smile and giggle slightly.
She gives me a confused and slightly hurt look.
I quickly raise my hands up and shake them from side to side, "No no! I wasn't laughing at you! I was just thinking to myself that you were cute! That's-... that's it.." I mumble the last part feeling my face heat up a bit.
I bite on my lip cursing myself out in my head.
I look over at her and her face-
Her face is very red! She looks like she wants to say something due to her opening her mouth and closing it.
She lets out a few noises but it's clear she's flustered. I hold in my laughter by pursing my lips.
I let out a soft giggle that I didn't even know I could do but she snaps out of her cherry state and her ears flatten down on her head.
She bows and shuts her eyes, "I'm very sorry! I-I didn't mean to freeze up!"
I jump and look around. Just as I thought, people are looking at us and muttering.
I trip on my words before being able to spout out words, "It's no big deal! None at all! You didn't do anything wrong so just forgive and forget! Okay?" I nervously laugh.
She nods and walks away—to place in my order I assume—leaving me to my lonesome.
I let out a deep sigh, 'Talk about intense.'
I look around, getting weird looks, causing me to look down at this VERY interesting plate.
I feel my phone vibrate so I quickly pull it and check my messages. Harvest.
'Alright, but are you sure your ok and fine with us going off without you?'
I text back, 'Yeah, don't worry about me. When I'm done I'll text you guys and see if you want to meet up or not.'
He replies, '👍 alright.'
I nod, even though he can't see me and put my phone back into my pocket.
I look back around seeing Casper looking at me.
I gulp and wave him over which he smiles at.
He pulls out a chair and places his hands in his lap.
"Is there something I can do for you?" I raise an eyebrow. "Why yes actually." His smile seems to grow. I nod for him to continue, "And that is?" He places a hand on the table and just ... stays quiet for a bit before answering, "Why don't you come work here?" He smiles and tilts his head as I sweat drop, "Why?" 'And why am I considering this?' "Well for one, it'll help my business for having a human work here, two we are in debt and the more people the more money and there ... why not?" I hum and place my elbows on the table, "And what's in it for me?" I place my head on my hands that are closed together in a way that I look like a supervillain. "I'll give you twenty percent of the cut, It'll help your exposure for your representative stature and if you have exposure that will help encourage other ... human haters to well, not hate humans and last but not least you'll have free food for life." He gives me a shifty smile. I sweat drop. "Oh! And as a bonus if you need something that I am able to provide I will do so without putting up a fight."
I slowly nod and hear someone clear their throat. I jump.
I look over, seeing the waitress holding a cup and plate of food.
She sets the food down in front of me, bows and scurries off.
I look at the food and pick it up,—with a fork—taking a bite.
I look at him and hum.
"Thirty." I raise a brow as he smiles, "Alright, thirty."
I smirk at him and raise my hand up for him to shake.
"It's a pleasure doing business with you Casper, when do I start?"
He smiles widely, "Next week, Tuesday."
I nod and smile back, "Sounds wonderful."
After that he gets up and walks away as I finish my food.
My favorite time ... Timeskip! Brought to you by the power of the lesbians. Let's go lesbians! Let's go!
I walk out of Caspers and send a quick text to Harvest.
I put away my phone and think about what just went down in Caspers.
'He's right though, I need exposure because it's no use if I'm a representative to a race that hates my guts. It'll be hard enough to convince Japan, America or anywhere else, that's for sure. And for the money? Well I don't want to leech off of Rani. So pocket money and exposure. It helps Caspers business and my business of representation. I'm sure that there are more people like that one waiter who almost killed me.'
I sigh and look around.
'Why are things so difficult?'
