Chapter 5 Truth or Confession

I woke up to hearing the doorbell ring and remembered the game against District 5. I jumped out of bed, got ready, then ran down stairs to eat. When I got downstairs that Gordon/dad was there talking to my grandfather on the couch. When I entered the room, grandpa told me to sit down and we talked while Adam showed up saving me, my hero.

Riley: Y/n this is Gordon Bombay, your father

You: Hi

Gordon: Hi so um I wanted to talk to you guys um where's Molly

You: She's gone and you would've known that if you didn't leave us a year before her death

Gordon: I'm so sor-

Riley: Y/n thats probably Banks so get the door

You: Whatever

Adam: Hey Y/n- whoa what happened to make you upset

You: Lets go for a ride

We got our rollerblades and bladed around Edina and told him everything. An hour passed and my grandpa took us to the game so we ran into the locker room. When the game started, I saw Gordon yelling at the kids he's coaching, glad I didn't grow up with that. It was the second quarter and we're winning by 7 even though District 5 haven't scored a goal yet. After the game Adam kissed my cheek and walked away to his locker. Adam didn't talk to me for the rest of the day, Larson and Ser came over and we played truth or confession.

Larson: Okay Y/n truth or confession

You: Truth

Larson: Do you like someone on the team

You: Yea, Ser truth or confession

Ser: Confession, um I've never drank beer or wine before

Larson: Oh Boo you're boring

Ser: Okay then truth or confession

Larson: Confession, I dream of unicorns, fairies, and mermaids, Y/n t or c

You: Truth

Larson: Who on the team do you like

You: I'm done playing this game

Ser: Come on tell us we're not going to tell

Larson: Yea and if you were a real Hawk you'd tell us

You: Okay fine its Adam happy now I'm going to bed

Ser: Chicken

You: Its 5 in the morning I'm going to sleep night boys

Larson and Ser: Night Y/n
