"I love you," I said to my butterfly and seeing her smile made it all so real for me. She look me into my eyes and pulled me into a kiss.
"I love you too," she said and we started kissing again. My tongue slipped into her mouth as we backed inside my room.
I had full control over the situation until she started to rip apart my shirt, letting the buttons fly aimlessly on the floor. I smirk and lifted her up to place her gently on the bed. She smiled and as I rolled over to change places, I felt like I was falling. The bed bursted into a pile of roses then to a blue sky. From sweet dreams to a nightmare, I quickly jumped up out of my sleep feeling my heart race a mile a minute.
"Are you ok?," I heard Indigo say from the side of me. I must have woken her up with I jumped because her head that was once laying directly on my chest was now off of me and her face held a worried expression.
"I'm fine. I'm sorry I woke you up."
"No it's ok. What did you dream about that made you jump like that?"
"I had one of those weird falling dreams. They are terrifying as shit to me because I heard from somewhere before that if you actually hit the bottom then you've died."
"Wow I never knew that. You heard any dreams about teeth? Because I've had this one repetitive one where I'd lose all of them and I wake up so scared and check my mouth trying to make sure that all my teeth are in."
"Wouldn't you feel them if they were out?"
"I don't know. All I think about after that is waking up with no teeth."
"Fact so since we're already up before the sun can even begin to rise. What do you want to do?"
"Try to go back to sleep. We have been invited to a dinner party, remember?," she said and I nodded. Technically it was more "her" than a "we" situation. Her family got invited to this fancy ass party by this other socialites and they allowed everyone to bring a plus one and since I was her man, I had to come and be by the side of my woman.
"Yeah I remember," I said getting up and grabbing a sleeping pill before I filled a tiny cup I kept in the bathroom with water to swallow it. I have yet to become one of those sociopaths that can swallow a pill just dry as fuck like the shit already nasty and take like dust but 'hey do you.' I then got back in the bed to lay down with my baby wrapping my arms back around her.
I open my eyes from the sleepy haze and saw that Indigo wasn't at my side anymore. I realized she got up a lot earlier than I did about two weeks ago the last time she stayed here. I guess she was a morning person which contrasted with me since I'm neither a night owl nor an early bird. I'm grateful for sleep and waking up every morning, I just sometimes sleep til noon for no apparent reason.
