Friday night, we were on the road to Georgia for the game the next day. I was on the bus sitting beside Ethan with the chess board on our laps.

"Ethan, I gotta tell you something," I said as I made a chess move. "turn on your 'best friend ears'."

Ethan pretended to turn on his invisible hearing aid.

"Me and Brett are dating." I whispered.

"I figured." Ethan said after he made his chess move.

"How?" I asked.

"The other night when you ditched us at dinner," Ethan chuckled. "you wouldn't leave your boys for no reason. And," he lifted up his index finger to add. "I saw him touching your hand."

"Wow, you're so smart." I joked.

"Nope," Ethan laughed. "just observant. Make your move, damn!"

"Chill." I said, trying to figure out a move then making it.

"The guys are gonna have field day with this one." Ethan whispered.

"I don't even want to think about it." I laughed.

"Party is already getting started at my place!" Dave yelled on the bus back to campus after we won the game against Georgia 19-16.

"Hell yeah!" We all yelled back.

I immediately text Mia and Cecilia about the party.

Mia: we're already here LOL

Cecilia: we getting fucked up tonite!

Me: hell yeah LOL; save some for me!

The bus arrived at the stadium around two the next morning. I jumped into Ethan's Suburban with Jonathon, Boomer, and Craig and we went straight to Dave's house. The party was still live since everyone was waiting for the team to arrive.

As soon as we walked in, Ethan was taken from my side by a group of girls. Soon enough, the other guys were scooped up as well.

"Save me some brownies, Boomer!" I yelled after him.

I found Mia leaning against a wall conversing with a tennis player. I walked past her and she handed me a blunt. I took a hit and kept walking through the house. I mingled with different groups of people. I was walking down the hall, finishing the blunt when I got pulled into a closet.

"Whoa," I said slowly.

I looked into the slight darkness and saw Brett's face.

"What are you doing?" I laughed.

"Hiding." Brett whispered.

"From?"

"Those crazy groups of girls," he sighed. "told them I was going to the bathroom. One of them wanted to come with me. These girls are crazy."

All I could do was laugh and put the blunt up to my mouth, but there was none left. "Oh shit." I frowned.

"You smoked a whole blunt by yourself?" Brett asked in shock.

"Just half," I chuckled. "Mia had the other half."

"You wanna dance?" He asked.

"You're not afraid those girls will jump on you?" I joked.

"Not when they see me with you." He smiled and led me out of the closet.

Now people knew something was happening between us when we left the closet and went to the middle of the living room. We began to grind on each other to the rhythm of the music. With my back to him, Brett held onto my waist as I put my arms around his neck. I closed my eyes and only concentrated on him and his movements. The more I shoved my body against him, the more his hands explored my body. He slid his hands up my shirt and held onto my flat stomach. He began to kiss my neck and I felt arousal run through my body. I ran my fingers through his hair as he traced kisses up my neck and cheek. He turned me around to face him and I brought my hands around his neck again. He began to kiss me as our bodies kept up with the beat. He brought his hands to my butt and grabbed it as I kept moving. He then brought his hands back to my waist and rested them there. He tried to pull away from me as the song came to an end, but I didn't want to stop kissing him. He brought his lips from mine and to my ear.

"Let's grab a drink." He said to me, still not letting me go.

I stopped dancing and walked with him over to the bar.

Right then and there, reality set in. Everyone in the room was looking at us. Whelp, secret is out, I thought. Brett only let me go to grab the beers. Even when we leaned up against the wall, he sill had his hand on my waist.

I took a sip from my beer as Brett brought his lips to my ear.

"I want you so bad." He said, then leaned away and took a sip from his beer.

I had no words, I just knew that I wanted him, too.

"Y'all are dating now?" Boomer walked up and yelled towards us.

I just looked at him and sipped my beer.

"Yeah, man." Brett said to him.

Boomer touched Brett's shoulder, which caused Brett to fall back onto the wall. "Don't do anything to hurt her," Boomer yelled to him.

"You got it man." Brett chuckled.

Boomer let up off of Brett and looked at me. "Here," he said, handing a weed brownie to me.

"Thanks." I smiled, taking the brownie from him.

As he walked away, he said, "I got my eyes on you," to Brett.

All I could do was laugh and toss pieces of brownies into my mouth. I offered Brett a piece but he refused.

"It's not fun unless you do it, too."

Brett gave in and took half of the brownie into his mouth.

That next morning, I woke up with Brett on top of me with his arms around me and a football in his hands. We were laid out in the front yard with some other scattered bodies. I softly removed myself from Brett's hold and went inside to the kitchen and grabbed a yogurt. I sat on top of the bar counter Indian style and continued to eat. Then I heard the front door close and Brett appeared. He walked up and kissed me.

"Yogurt?" He asked, pointing to the cup in my hand.

"I do this after every party," I chuckled. "it's gotten to the point that Dave only buys the yogurt for me."

"Babe, what happened last night?" He asked. "I swear I don't remember any after we ate that brownie."

I burst out laughing softly. "Me neither!"

"You do this all the time?" He asked.

"Yeah, we party pretty hard."

"You're wild, Ally Jo," Brett smiled, leaning up to kiss me.

I looked up at the clock to see that it was 9:15. "I have to go find Mia." I said, jumping down from the counter.

"Dinner and movie tonight?" Ethan offered. "I'll come get you at six."

"Okay," I smiled and went on my search for Mia.
