In my Business Finance class on Tuesday, I understood everything coming from my professor's mouth. I was in shock at how much Brett had taught me. I took out my phone and text him.

Me: Thanks for the tutoring. I feel real smart now! -Ally

He replied within seconds saying,

Brett: looks like u don't need my help anymore

Me: I wouldn't say that LOL

Brett: Well I have ur # now so maybe u could help me out

Me: With?

That time he didn't reply.  Okay, Brett, leaving me in suspense, I see, I thought.

At lunch, I grabbed a granola bar from my backpack and began my walk to the stadium. At lunch, a bunch of football players would eat their lunch in the training room and get ice baths and kinks in their arms and legs rolled out.

"Re-tape KJ's ankle, will you Ally?" George said as I walked into the training room and sat my backpack down. KJ was already sitting on the observation table.

"Sup, KJ?" I said as I passed him to get the tape.

KJ did a head nod and scooted back on the table to prop up his left leg.

"It's healing really fast, dude." I said as I began to tape his left ankle.

"They don't call me quick healer for nothing." He joked.

I rolled my eyes. "No one calls you that, fool." I laughed.

As I was finishing up KJ, Brett walked in. George was still rolling out another player, so I knew I'd have to deal with him.

"Alright, KJ, you're all taped up," I said, patting his leg. "see you at practice."

KJ jumped off the table and Brett jumped on.

"Hey," He smiled.

"What can I help you with?" I asked.

"A kiss would be nice," He whispered.

I bit down on my lip. "Can't do that here. But really, what can I help you with?"

"I need my arms rolled out." He sighed, holding up both of his arms to show off his bulging muscles.

I put the tape back and grabbed the rolling stick. "Brace yourself." I said, warning him of the pain.

Brett held onto the edges of the table as I started with his right arm. After a few minutes on his arm, his face began to turn red.

"You don't have to act like a tough guy around me," I assured him. "I know how much this hurts."

Brett let out a deep exhale like he had been holding his breath for a while.

"How's that feel?" I asked as I massaged his right arm after I finished.

"Nice," He sighed. "a massage and we haven't even gone on a second date."

I switched sides and started on his left arm.

"You know, we're technically having lunch together." He smiled.

Dear Lord, why is he so cute right now? I thought. "I guess you have a point," I said. "so our second date consist of me causing you a lot of pain?"

"I guess we'll be that kind of relationship." Brett chuckled through the pain.

Relationship? I thought. I managed to chuckle along with him.
