Hermione's POV
I woke up in the hospital wing i was very confused why was i here then the events of last night repeated itself in my head Harry saving me twice! How can i repay him he is the best friend ever that's when i felt something in my hand i looked at it and realized that someone was holding my hand and I instantly knew who it was:Harry
I looked at him he was asleep "Aw he looks so adorable when he is sleeping" I thought then suddenly i rubbed his hand i couldn't help it and by the time i was already rubbing it I realized what i was doing "Oh no now i woke up Harry" I practically screamed in my mind as his eyes started to open he looked at me and smiled before he could say anything i cut him off "Oh no i am so sorry Harry I didn't mean to wake you up!" But he replied "Shh Hermione it's fine and I liked it anyways" i could feel my cheeks turning red but i just hugged him I hugged him like i never hugged anyone before I could feel tears of gratitude in my eyes he looked surprised then he hugged back we stood there for about 5 minutes before i broke the hug tears freely running i said "Oh Harry how can i thank you? you saved my life twice i cant tell you how thankful I am that i met you i never got a friend no one cared i was visible except you I-"
He wiped away my tears and said softly "Shh Hermione it was nothing and if no one was your friend it is their loss you are the most smart and kind not to mention brave person i know thank you for being my first friend"
We hugged a second time and after the hug Harry said "Oh and here you should drink this when you were awake and i will go call Madame Pomfrey"
As he left i wondered to myself how could i be so lucky getting him as a best friend? how?
