I know that Pansy doesn't really think of Draco as a brother, this is just a fanfic, so . . .

~~Pansy Parkinson~~ (surprise)

Me and my band of Slytherin girls were going on about the gossip of the day at the Slytherin Table in the Feast Hall. The one everyone was talking about since the last class which was COMC with those Gryffindorks, was that Draco and his 2 little pipsqueak followers had acquainted with Potter's gang.

Well, there were rumours that they had sat together in Hogwarts Express. But, then again, Draco hadn't gone near them since then.

Parvati was telling her twin that she just saw Granger defending Draco from Weasley in the library.

Yeah sure. Draco would go to the library. He would talk to Weasley. Weasley would shout at him. He wouldn't say anything. Instead. He would let Granger defend him and Granger would do just that. Totally agreeable. *scoff*

I'd just have to wait till he comes in. Why is he late? Is he with the, really? I don't think so. If he is, I'll just talk some sense into him. He'll have to listen to me. I've always been like a big sister to him. Feeding him the gossips and helping him bully people, from the background.

The door opened and Potter's gang came in. And guess who was with them. No, not Draco. I told you he would not do that. But his sidekicks were with them. Wait till I tell him. Maybe, I'd not tell about Theo. Maaayybee.

Where was Granger? Rotting in the Library, perhaps.

I turn back to my girls. Soon, a collective gasp is heard and everybody turns towards the door. So, I do too. And you'll never believe what I saw.

My little brother was walking in with Granger. And it looked like she was comforting him. They waved at each other and went to sit at the Table of their respective houses which happen to be enemies.

Everyone was staring at them. I don't know what got into me, but I stood up and ran towards them.

"Why are you with Granger?" I asked.

"Let it be, Pansy." He told me. I glare at Granger and she glares right back.

And let me tell you. She is scary!

I'll tell you something else. I hated her because of her parentage. Her blood. But as I grew up, I . . . I don't know how to put it. As children, you take in what you're taught. But as you become a 19 year old – an adult, you start to think for yourself. You realise that . . . Well, you get the idea. I guess.

Right now, the reason I really hate her is, she is everything I wasn't. She looked kinda pretty with no make-up. Well, I guess I would too. But, I was much too insecure for that. I grew up being judged. All Purebloods do.

And she was famous. Kids idolised her. While they looked at me with disgust. And she had friends. Not followers. Okay, so not all my friends are followers. I have Daph (Daphne Greengrass) and Tory (Astoria Greengrass). And Blaise (Blaise Zabini), Draco and Goyle. And Theo (Theodore Nott). Well, the last one, I hope more than just friends.

And here she comes. Swooping in, and taking all of them away. It's just not fair and that makes me hate her.

We had just finished lunch early and were waiting for the teachers to come and escort us to Hogwarts. After that . . . creature had just offered a quest, and refused to offer transport, Chiron had called somebody named Humble Door. He had agreed to send two teachers to get us.
