Cloe PROV
"Cloe! Can you bring up the flashlights!" My twin called from down stairs.
'It had only been two days since we returned from the light kingdom and even though we made it through triumphant, our progress had reached a hiccup in the road. The trouble is we now have the gear, but still no targets.'
"We think one of the people is Slater. It makes sense that it could be Slater but without evidence, nailing him and whoever else legally is not really an option." Alex had said just yesterday.
'And Zea had Replied. "Then why don't we do it illegally."
'Something about not wanting to put us in danger again was all I was able to glean from his 23 minute, 34 second monologue.
'So what do we do? We do it his way which is to look into his government files and until we find something.'
'Big waste of time in my opinion. It would be simpler to just hack onto Slater's computer and watch for peculiar activity from there. But no, Alex says that he doesn't want to put us in any more danger by doing illegal activities.'
'A wild grin spread across my face, as I hurried up the stairs, flashlight's in hand. Zea was waiting on a couch wearing all black as usual, but a silver mask kept the upper half of her face hidden. A large duffel bag was placed beside her feet with everything we needed. Zea's silver eyes were darting between a traditional wooden baseball bat in her left hand and the Glock 19 on her right.'
"Are you almost ready?" I ask, putting the flashlights in the bag.
'Zea ignored the question and simply asked.
"Say Cloe, do you think I should bring my handgun or the bat Hanna got for my birthday?" Zea asked as I went to the kitchen, rummaged through the cupboards snatched the Fish crackers and skittles, and I replied as I made my way to the fridge.
"I'd bring them both. It is Bank Bashing, you never really know what you're going to need." I set the snacks down to get Zea Apple Juice and myself a Coke.
'Me and Zea were supposed to be looking through the files in our spare time, but I got frustrated and hurt myself trying to smash our dad's enchanted computer when it didn't load fast enough... So we thought we should take a break. Now we're going to a bank in Cliprick to commandeer the safe... and everything in it.'
"Oh Flaming Thunder, it's been so long since we've hijacked a bank I almost forgot that there were rules." Zea Said.
'It was true. The last time we went Bank Bashing was when we caught Hanna's hair on fire, 3 years, 27 day, 5 hours, and 49 minutes ago. We hadn't gone back because we were simply too busy. Still were in fact, if you counted the homework a mile high on my side of the room.'
"Yeah it's been a while." I say bringing back the snacks for the night and I ask. "Remind me again why we need to follow rules?"
"Because it's a Human bank." She says.
"Ah, Say no more." I say.
'The rules were simple and straightforward.'
1. No using magic.
2. No killing People ( A lot more difficult than it sound's)
3. No Scouting the interior of the building beforehand.
4. No getting caught.
5. And No Getting Killed. ( This is the easiest one to follow)'
'If it was necessary, the last one over ruled the first four, but the stakes never escalated to that point, because let's be honest we're good. Mom and dad made the rules to help us push our limits, but after a while it simply just became a professional courtesy.'
