Entering the museum felt refreshing. The first hall was spacious, though, I can see more stairs all around. I hope we don't go up somewhere just yet. There are interfaces all around the museum. I can see people clicking on interfaces to get information or a map to see where they are going.

"Now my wonderful visitors. Shall we begin the tour?"

I wonder where he'll take us first. Looking around the place could use some more colors. It was just mainly white, blue and a bit of black. The abstract statues and designs they have they have all around compliments the structure of the building. The tour guide leads us to a sliding door marked 'Fossil Exhibition'.

--------------------------------------------------

We entered a room full of what I could assume, stating the obvious, animal bones. I must admit, it really is interesting to learn what kind of creatures roamed around in different areas of the world. The tour guide allowed us to look around. Everyone immediately dispersed.

"Look! Look at this Apollo!"

We approached the first exhibit and I looked at the name of the exhibition, it reads 'Lion'. Wow, look at how the bones are structured, not to mention its sharp teeth and claws. Must be a ferocious creature.

"Ah, I see you have stumbled across the mighty lion. It feared no other species and with its raw power and strength, this creature was crowned... the king of the jungle."

"W-w-wow. That's really impressive."

"WOAH! How did it act around its own kind? It must be very fierce! Ooh! What did it sound like? Did it have a loud monstrous roar?!"

Woah, Athena tone it down a bit. Give the guy some time to breathe and answer your questions at least.

"Ha ha ha, what a very enthusiastic lady. But I must say, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but a lion's roar isn't what you think it is." He then swiped the description board from the Lion's exhibit and tapped a few buttons.

"Have a listen for yourself. Press that button."

Woah, have they managed to create what these creatures sounded like? That's actually pretty cool. Athena urged Nereus to do the honor since she already had the choice of where to go first, Nereus politely thanked her and then pressed the button. The sound of the lion then played. Oh wow, that is quite disappointing. From its description I was thinking more of, I don't know, something louder. The lion sounded like pulling a huge desk.

"Hmm, I mean, it's still quite a fierce roar in my opinion."

"Indeed, though have a listen to its related family, the tiger."

The tour guide then walks towards the tiger exhibit and does his usual tappy tap on the screen and then plays the sound. The moment the sound played, it alerted everyone in the room to quickly shift their attention to where the sound was coming from. How do I say this, both sounded similar, but the tiger was a bit more aggressive from my perspective.

"Lion roars are built for distance, Tigers on the other hand, are about immediate intimidation."

We move onto other animals. There's one thing that interested me the most and that was the domesticated cat and dogs. It was said that these species existed with humans and they were considered as 'pets'. I've seen something similar in the news that has the same structure as this domesticated dog, but it was all metal-y and robot-y. After a few minutes roaming around looking at different types of creatures with all shapes and sizes, the tour guide clapped his hands to get our attention. There was a big sliding door that opened up that revealed another room.

"And now ladies and gentlemen. For our final exhibit, I present to you, our three biggest creatures to ever exist in this world!"

He begins to showcase the other section of the room where it's empty in the middle but there are three big doors. It slowly opens a door revealing a glass barrier that opens from the left.

"First! The Giraffe!"

The crowd was in awe. That's one long neck. Now the door opens to the right.

"Second! The majestic Elephant!"

Wew, it's actually bigger than the giraffe. The middle doors now start to open. But wait. If this is bigger compared to the previous one... Then that would mean-

"And finally! The biggest of them all! An aquatic giant, the Blue Whale!"

I stood there speechless. Everybody's mouths were practically on the floor. Athena gets all giddy and Nereus' eyes glitter in excitement. This is unreal. It's gigantic compared to the other fish fossils we have seen just a couple of minutes ago. The fact that this creature roamed around on our world once sends chills down my spine. I raise my hand to get the tour guide's attention.

"Uh sir. How fierce was this creature? Being underwater, how do people even discover such a beast?"

"Simple. As much as this creature gives you an ominous feeling and being the size, you would think it terrorized smaller species. However, it is actually a peaceful giant. It merely preyed on schools of fishes as much it could fit in its mouth. It never hunted humans."

It's almost hard to believe. How would this creature not take advantage of how big and strong it is?

Our fossil exhibition visit has come to an end.

--------------------------------------------------

The tour guide leads us to a platform that we all stand on. As the door behind us closes, he presses a few buttons then it starts moving downwards. We then came to a halt. The door opened once more but this time, it was in front of us.

"Now this exhibit is quite fascinating, you'll see why soon enough."

We see a bright showcase in the middle of the hall, and as soon as we went through the doors we were greeted by this enormous glass that was twice the size of the room we were just in. I turned my head to the right and my eyes widened like it never had been before.

"Behold, the airplane. Model type, Boeing 777X."

It was eye catching. Though even in pieces, from what I can make it out to be, it seems even bigger compared to the whale!

"We were only able to gather the head, a wing, a small chunk of its body and the tail. As you may have observed, it would be a lot bigger if all the pieces were together. Sadly we could not recover all of it due t-"

He paused. While the other children had their attentions set dead on the airplane, Nereus in a trance and Athena having her face squashed on the glass like she did on the bus we rode on. It seemed like I was the only one who noticed. He cleared his throat afterwards and started moving back from the exhibit. Everyone started chattering among themselves.

"Imagine riding one of those!"

"I wonder how many people can fit in that thing.." The other kids continue to chatter among themselves.

"Alright then, let's go back to the elevator and move on to our next exhibits shall we?"

I turned my body towards the way we came from and before I took another step I stopped and looked at the plane and thought. If this was able to fly up so high in the air. Why haven't I seen any other vehicles that have the ability to fly? Nothing I've seen in news or other shows that highlighted a mode of transport that flies. I have seen them in comics and cartoons but it just hit me now. It would be so much easier to go to the city that way. Bu-

"Hey Apollo!! Daydreaming again? Stop wasting everyone's time and get over here dummy!"

"Huh? Oh, sorry!"

I jogged to catch up to the group, getting an earful from Athena. I just didn't pay attention really. I looked back once more and the door closed.
