"he's actually real," you cry out into the phone. "i thought he was a catfish."

"calm down," jinho laughs, his giggle echoing through the phone. "what time is it?"

you glance at the clock. "4:54."

"okay, then he should be back any minute!" jinho exclaims. "get off the phone and prepare yourself for the hot man to walk through the door!"

you laugh along with jinho, feeling at ease on the phone with your best friend.

"okay! bye, jinho!" you wait for him to hang up.

cleaning up the messes on the table, you hear the door open. you feel yourself jump as you turn to see who entered.

it was just a woman with her daughter.
you get back to cleaning the tables.

for the rest of your shift, the door opens and closes, strangers entering. you wait for jungkook to step through the door, but he never does.

"alright, y/n!" your manager pats you on your back. "you can go now."

"thank you!" you bow your head before going to the back rooms to change into your clothes.

hopefully jungkook will be sitting down, waiting for you, when you come back.
