Catherine's POV

"Are you sure they'll see it?" I asked Alejandro, referring to his parents, seeing the interview, that he'd just messed up!!

"Yes, I'm pretty sure they will, and even if they don't, those pesky journalist would garantee it," he answered. I rolled my eyes at him, finding the situation quite overwhelming.

"What did I tell you about being a civilized person when go out there!" I scolded. Sam released a laugh before mumbling,

"Deja Vu,"

I fanned her off before facing both Marcus and Alejandro once again, asking "So, what do we do?" By now bodily sweat had drenched my hospital gown and was seeping out onto my bed.

Stress sweat, tell me about it!!

"We do it before the magazines does," Marcus answered.

"Meaning?" Sam and I asked, dragging out the word meaning.

"Means that we go to my parents island and tell them ourselves," Alejandro explained.

"Wait wait wait," I interrupted, "You're actually suggesting that we go to your parents island to tell a lie??" I freaked.

"That's exactly what I'm suggesting," he pitched giving a hearty smile.

"Wouldn't it be easier if we'd just tell everyone the truth, because this is getting out of hand!" Sam finally spoke up.

"And for once, I actually agree with her!" I pointed out, Sam threw me a dirty glare, and I  shrugged it off.

"If we'd just tell the truth, where will the fun be in that?" Marcus grinned excitedly, Sam and I looked at him with questioning glances.

"That's not the reason," Alejandro piped in, elbowing him in the gut, "And shut up Marcus!!"

"Oww,"

"If we do that our family image will be trashed and plus not to mention Catherine's, they'll redicule her for the rest of her life, not to brag or anything, but I'm known worldwide,"

"That's bragging," Sam rolled her eyes, at him.

I released a stressed sigh,"I didn't agree to this, I was only blackmailed to become your maid, until who knows when, I didn't even get my first paycheck yet, and I still managed to get into a lot shit, and getting shot is one of them, not only that but now I'm cornered between getting internet shamed or being fake engaged to a narcissistic asshole--"

"Hey,"

"Shut up, don't interrupt me when I'm ranting," I snapped, Sam rolled her eyes at me, "Fine," I released, "Fine, I'll do it, now get out, so I can cry my sorrows away thank you,"

*********************

"The plan is simple, we get there, and tell them we're engaged," Alejandro repeated, as if he was trying to reassure not me, but himself.

"Hey," he looked up at me, "Its gonna be fine,"

He shook his head with a little chuckle before resting his back into the soft leathery seat of his private jet, "You dont get it, do you Catherine?"

"Get what?"

"Our parents are pain in the ass!!" Marcus pitched in, "And its like what that reporter guy said, you don't come from a wealthy background, you didn't go to college, and you dont have a steady job, so why would they want their eldest son to marry a woman---and I mean no offence--- like you?"

I nod my head getting the point, "Its because I'm not on top of the social scale,"

"There you get it!" Marcus grinned back before turning to face Sam again.
