"Yoo babe...come over here." He said smiling over at me.

I blushed.

I can't believe it. He finally asked me to be his...girlfriend !

I walked over to him, face red as a tomato. "Wow babe, cute clothes!" Jonah was eyeing me up and down. I looked down at my cropped top and short skirt.

"Mmm." I smiled sweetly at him. He threw his hand around me and pulled me in closer. Leaning in, he was inching closer and closer to me. I sucked some air in and held my breath waiting for what I assumed was his lips to meet mine. But it never came.

Instead, I felt a hard thud across my face.

Hmmm...

Where'd Jonah get a pillow? I scrunch up my face.

"What du hell?" I opened my eyes and mom was leaning over me..her eyebrows arched.

"Sooo... Who was it?" She had a sly smirk on her face. "Who you tryna smooch there kid?" I looked at her puzzled, propping myself on my elbows.

Ohhh. Please don't tell me I just did that? Please don't tell me my lips were puckered up..and mom saw?

Ugghh!

"Out momm!" I groaned while simultaneously flipping my self and falling face flat onto the bed. She laughed and walked to the door, "You know, it's nothing to be ashamed of. I use to had a lot of dreams about me kissing guys . Hmm and..girls too! Huhh?"

Looking at her she scrunched her face... something she does when she remembers or realises something. I was left there in shock after hearing my mom confess that.

"Uhh..mmm . Cool." I said after watching her walk out. Now on my back I taught about the..dream of Jonah. He seemed really different in the dream, the way he talked .. I know that's not him and the kind of person that he is. He would not talk like that, especially to a girl ,so egotistical.

Oh! Like you know him that well !

My Witty subconscious chimes in.

" And get out of bed you'll be late for lunch. We're going over to the Stevenson 's. " Mom yelled, catching me off guard.

No mom! Think Jonah thoughts..Jonah thoughts!
Wait the Stevenson? As in Jonah Stevenson?

Cool! I can work with that but, does Jonah deserve more credit than sleep? No, I don't think so!

"What, why?" I groaned . "I need more sleep." I whispered to myself.

"Happening in twenty, Jenna. Uppp!" She completely ignored my question.

Crawling out of bed, I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and checked the time. It was 11:42 AM on a Sunday. Uggghh .

I really did sleep a long time. After the beach yesterday I came home at six and went right to bed. Maybe I should put some effort to go for lunch? After all it is my stomach we're talking about. That girls got to have food.

Food!

Food!

Food!

I chanted all the way to the bathroom and while getting dressed .
Oh sweet motivation.

I grabbed my phone from the desk in my room and made my way down to the kitchen to grab coffee. Mom and my grandma were sipping on coffee as well. I wonder how many cups they already had? Knowing them it's probably their fourth.

"Morning Gran!" I sing song while sipping on my addiction .

"Morning, love. You look beautiful today." She said sweetly . I smiled looking down at my floral sundress. It was a mustard yellow, with a spaghetti strap and ended just above my knees showing my slightly tanned legs I got from yesterday.
