I woke up, my head is very itchy, but somehow I scratched my back instead of my head

The sun light was shining through my eyelid and forcefully woke me from my dreamland

"Yawn... this is already afternoon, isn't it...?"

Last night, I went to a barn with Aqua and Kazuma because we don't have any money for an inn

We slept together in one of the stables

Today, I woke up alone in the stable. They probably left to the guild this time

I walked towards the guild to search for them

I opened the door and saw Aqua entertaining the adventurers with her party tricks

Kazuma was having a breakfast? Or lunch? With Megumin. He kept staring at his adventurer card for some reason

I walked towards them and greeted them

"Yo, Kazuma, Megumin."

Kazuma: "Oh, Y/N! Good timing, come over here."

Kazuma showed his adventurer card at me

I sat between Megumin and Kazuma, then leaned towards his card, there were 3 skill points there

"Umm... you have 3 skill points... hooray?

Kazuma: "Not that you dummy. I wanted to learn some skills, but I don't know how."

"Why'd you think that I know? I came here after you, I'm less experienced in all sort of ways."

Megumin swallowed her food and interjected: "Y/N doesn't know how to learn a skill? But you used a pretty powerful one yesterday didn't you?"

"Ah, that one. It's a special skill given by this mask."

I pulled the mask and showed it to Megumin

She looked at the mask with glowing red eyes and her mouth are slightly open

Megumin: "I see. This mask is truly an awesome one! It really triggers my Crimson Demon senses to wear it!"

She lift her arms and tried to grab it

I swiftly pulled the mask away from her before she tried to took it away

Kazuma: "So, how do I actually learn skills?"

Megumin came back to her senses and explained: "Learning skills? That's simple. Look at the tab on your card, there's a 'Learnable Skill' collumn- oh wait, Kazuma's an adventurer, so you need people to teach you spells. You need to see someone use a skill in action, and it should appear on the learnable skill collumn, and you can learn it with skill points."

Kazuma looked at his card, empty without any skills to learn. He asked me something: "Hey, Y/N, how come I'm unable to learn your [Death Ray] skill?"

"Probably because it's a special skill? You probably need this mask to use it, but again, it only activates when I use it. Aqua used this when she's drunk last night but nothing happened."

Kazuma: "I see..."

"So, I only need to see a skill in action, right? If Megumin teaches me Explosion, I could use Explosion, right?"

Then Megumin suddenly leaned towards my face. Her face was too close, so I leaned back

Megumin: "That's right! The skill points needed would be extremely high, but only Archwizards and Adventurers are able to learn Explosion. I can teach you Explosion anytime you want! Or rather, is there any spell worth learning other than Explosion? No, no, there is definitely not! So come! Let's walk the path of Explosion together with me!"
