Riku's p.o.v.

I remember how my life came to this point like it was yesterday. Tenn-nii had just left home when it happened my own parents sold me off to human traffickers in exchange for more money. For two years I was bumped form country to country: Korea, Egypt, Brazil, Spain, Rome, and China, before I ended up in America. During which I learned the local languages of where I was, along with getting beaten and bruised. But being with the traffickers taught me to fight mainly because they would often pit us against other trafficker's and gang members from the various gangs in the area. Some did it for food I fought to protect the younger kids that were with me since no one else would. But that wasn't the only skills I learned. I also learned lock picking, medicine, all forms of first aid, hacking, and cooking (since it was a nesessity for al least one person to learn). During this time I also got over my breathing problem.

But in America things continued as usual till one night when they arrived. Yup I'm talking about the infamous batfamily: Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin. I'd already freed myself from my bonds and gave them a hand with the trafficker's. Shortly afterwards the police showed up and at the age of 13 I was put into the system my parents already having been arrested two months prior.  I was in the hospital for a few months so all of the injuries that I sustained over the years could heal. But once I was discharged instead of going to an orphanage I was instead taken in by Bruce Wayne which I found odd since he's infamous for adopting children with black hair and blue eye's neither of which I possessed having red hair and red eyes.

"Hajimemashite Riku. Burūsu U~Eindesu." Bruce said in almost perfect Japanese (Nice to meet you Riku. I'm Bruce Wayne)

"Anata wa karedesu. Anata no Battoman wa anatade wa arimasen?" I told him having two month to think about his secret ID. (You're him. Your Batman aren't you?)

Bruce froze till I gave him a look saying that I'd figured it out because I was bored out of mind inside the hospital and that he made it painfully obvious on his own identity. I was then introduced to Alfred, Dick (Nightwing), Jason (Red Hood), and Tim (Red Robin). Dick and Tim helped me learn English. Jason and Bruce helped me smooth out my fighting style. Pretty soon afterwards, after nearly five months of convincing Bruce or dad as I began to call him, I was allowed to help them out on the streets of Gotham as Nightflare. No I was never Robin like my siblings, I believed that title best stayed with Tim for the time being. Then after being at the mansion for a year I met Damian.

At first the two of us didn't get along then we learned that we both have a love for the arts. Though he loved drawing more than music and cooking like I did. Alfred and Jason had helped me improve these skills over the years, but our love for animals also helped us bond as well. To say Dick was jealous was the understatement of the millenium since I was one of only two family members that Damian called by their first name instead of their last name. Not that I gave him much choice since every time he used my last name of Nanase I would strangle him for using it. I wanted nothing to do with the people who sold me to traffickers. He'd learned after the twentith time I tried, and failed(Thanks Jason), to strangle him why I detested that name.

When I was fifteen I wanted to get back in touch with my Japanese roots again. So With Bruce's permission I applied to a high school in Japan, with permission to do what I liked with in reason and that to stay safe I was not allowed to use the name of Wayne. Which was fine by me, I was going to ask Dick or Todd if I could use their name. But Bruce told me to use my old name of Nanase as not to arise suspicion and after a lot of arguing I agreed to use that name.

So I moved back to Japan and was soon swept up into the world of being an Idol like Tenn. I honestly don't think I can consider him my brother after everything, but as Riku Nanase I had to put on that facade that I still cared about him as my brother. Even if he did make my insides churn in disgust.  Every time I saw him both on and off the stage I had to bite back a growl and the urge to punch him.

But I can't say that it was all bad. I made friends with my group mates of Idolish 7. Iori was nice to hang around, but he was like a tsunder version of Dick just not that touchy feelly like Dick that was the job of Nagi and Mitskuni. Yamato and Sugo together were almost exactly like Jason, the exception being that neither has killed someone yet. It was kind of hard to place Tamaki with my brothers though with his obsession with pudding he might get along with Tim who has a coffee obsession.

I got along pretty well with the members of Re;Vale and the other members of Trigger for the most part though. But every single time I heard Tenn tell me to quit persuing music and dancing I swore to whomever is up there I was going to take Jason's Ak-47 or Damian's kattana and kill him myself. I'm not the same person I once was when we were kids.

But I, despite being an idol, still kept up my alter ego of Nightflare patrolling Tokyo to stop crime here like Dick does for Bludhaven and to ensure no one goes through what I did as a child. Let me tell you having to save other idols that you know from bombings and gun fights between rival gangs does get tiring after a while.

I've kept Bruce and the others back home in Gotham updated on how I was doing. Dick had made it his mission to try and buy all of the albums that my group has released. But instead I managed to send them to him. Also send Jason a few books that were only found here in Japan and no where else which he greatly appreciated. For Alfred and Tim I managed to find some specialty teas and coffees along with complimentary cups and mugs. Damian I managed to find a Japanese broad sword for him since he didn't have one in his collection along with a dog collar for Titus that had a recreation of The Great Wave off Kanagawa for a design. For Bruce though I managed to find a bat themed kimono as a joke of sorts. To hear his reaction from Jason was hilarious though.

Yes I still kept in touch with my brothers and sisters. I even had to help out the Teen Titans and The Birds a Prey a few times since one tokyo was turf and I knew the workings of the city better than anyone else on either team did. So seeing Cass and Stephanie again was nice though I had to keep it on the down low to my group mates about my other life.

But what I wasn't expecting though was for my brothers flip everything upside down and jeperdize my deal with Bruce.
