My childhood best friend and I sit in a dusty garage on a pull-out mattress.
I don't remember what we were talking about but I remember being so happy.
I remember an angry blonde woman knocked on the door and demanded we hand her our cellphones because they were somehow messing with a nearby cell tower.
I remember saying "we don't need em' anyway, we're having too much fun"
The woman was angrily staring at us when my friend made a joke, I can't remember what it was but I remember laughing so hard that we both fell off of the mattress onto each other and didn't even care that we were hurt and covered in dust.
when we got up from the floor the woman had turned into our 2nd grade English teacher, the kindest woman I'd ever met.
I remember her laughing along with us and smiling warmly.
I remember turning into kids again, whether it was physically or just in my soul doesn't matter.
I woke up feeling whole.

Mystery / ThrillerLovebug is compulsive. Lovebug is simple. Lovebug is mind numbingly bored. (I abandoned this story and don't care for it very much but I think it's still worth a read)
