you were carefree. not a thing in the world could break how calm you were. yet there was..
"hey honey. your friend kc wrote back!" your mother said entering your room.
you jumped up and grabbed the envelope from your mothers hand.
"thank you so much." you said.
she smiled and closed the door. you went back to your bed and opened it.

kc here again. schools been very wack recently, giving me so much work all at once. but im smart we all good.
anyways, my sister says she really wants to meet you, and so do i. i mean you do live in california, kind of sucks that i live here in new jersey .. but don't get me wrong i love it here, just sometimes it does get annoying :/
hope you and your family are doing well! my friends and i have been non stop talking about you. don't think im weird it's just im glad i get to write to someone like you. kind of lucky:)
moon hopefully you finally let me find out who you are.. because i know damn well ain't no one have a name like "moon"- no offense. and social media, i don't even know how you look like haha. but in all honesty you've made this past year for me great.

"alrighty everyone, we will be sending letters like the old days. you will be assigned a student from anywhere in the country. i have a list here to go through, and no you don't get to choose i have already chosen. there's a twist. you will be using a fake name to use when you write, it makes it more interesting. so come table by table to get your pen pal" your teacher yelled out. everyone was groaning. your history teacher was very, unique. he isn't like the rest of the teachers here at oakland waters. but even since he was different, he was definitely your favorite.
few minutes have passed and mr. valdez called your name. "miss y/n come get your person" he yelled. you walked over.
"here you go y/n. use any fake name, but please don't make it inappropriate." you giggled at his last remark. you then turned and headed back to your seat. then you began writing, at the end you put:
