Errand 8- Confession?

Confession?

"When she's awake, give this med to her." She heard a voice of a woman said to someone.

She try to open her eyes, and gaze to the man who's holding a med and a bottled water. She try to look to where she is. She's in the clinic.

"Gising kana." Her eyes widened as she saw the handsome man who is smiling genuinely to her.

Sinubukan niyang bumangon but the man stop her.

"Just lie down, I bet your body is in pain." She was about to talk but there's nothing to say. She lost words.

"I'm Ethan." pakilala nito sakanya.
"Athena Grace." Pakilala niya din. The man flashed his winning smile.
Napaka guwapo niya ngumiti.

"Sorry kung nahuli ako ng dating. I just heard at the girls restroom that someone needs a help. So I went there and found out that they were hurting you physically."

Naalala na naman niya ang nangyari sakanya. Napahawak siya sa ulo at kinapa kung may buhok pa naman siya.

Ethan laughed at her.
"Don't worry, your hair still looks fine. Medyo.. nabawasan nga lang ng konti." At ngayon ay siya naman ang natawa.

"I don't have friends, puwede bang makipag kaibigan sayo?" Ethan asker her. She nodded.

"S-sure." Ethan flashed his wide smile at her.

Hindi nakakasawa tignan ang mukha ni ethan. Simple lang ang pagka gwapo ng lalaki ngunit kapag pinakita na ang ngiti nito ay parang mapapa ngiti ka rin.

His voice also can melt even the coldest of hearts. Ang sarap sa teka pakinggan.

"Here take your med." She was about to get the med, but the two got shock when they heard a powerful noise from the door.

Athena was surprise to see Louie who is having hard to breathe. Para siyang nakipaghabulan. Kita niya rin sa mukha ng lalaki ang pag alala.

"Athena." Para siyang binuhusan ng malamig na tubig dahil sa pagkabigkas nito sa pangalan niya.

Louie gaze to ethan as if he wants to kill this man.

"Who are you? And why are you here?" The coldness of his voice and his uninterested aura triggers the whole room.

"Louie si Ethan, k-kaibigan ko." Siya na ang sumagot. Sa buong buhay niya ngayon na lang din siya kinabahan.

"Yes, I'm her friend. And I just saved her awhile ago. How about you? Who are you in her life?"

Louie felt like he mock him.
He clench his fists. How dare him!

"Sino siya Athena?" Ethan asked her. Naalarma siya. Hindi niya alam kung anong isasagot. Hindi rin naman sila magkaibigan e.

"He's.. just someone I know." she said and she closed her eyes, takot siyang makita ang reaksyon ni louie. Totoo naman kasi e.

Louie felt a sudden stabbed on his chest. He felt like his world literally stopped for a moment.

He looked to her in a serious way and he let out a long sigh.

"Hmm Ethan, pwedeng magkita na lang tayo mamaya. May paguusapan lang kami ni Louie." She tried to smile at him

"Sige. Inumin mo ito after niyong mag usap."

Nakahinga siya ng maluwag nang makalabas si ethan.

"Paano mo nalaman na naandito ako?" Athena asked him. Hindi niya alam pero nakikita niya na iba ang awra ngayon ng lalaki. She somehow saw a frustration in his face.

Louie just ignore her and get her med and bottled water.

"Take this." He said coldly as he unwrap the medicine. Malamig pa sa yelo ang boses nito.

Alanganin niyang kinuha ang gamot, and she slowly put the med in her mouth while looking at him.
Hindi pa rin siya nito tinitignan.

"What are you waiting for?" Louie's eyebrows creased as he gave the water to her. What's with him? Kanina pa siyang mukhang galit.

"T-thank you." She said while still looking at him.

"Are you upset?" Kusa na lang lumabas sa bibig ni athena ang katagang iyon. At ngayon ay mukhang nag sisi siya ng tanungin iyon.

She met his eyes. And stared at her for about 5 seconds.
Umiwas na siya ng tingin dahil hindi niya kayang makipag titigan sa lalaking mukhang galit.

"Who won't be upset, if you told that fucker, that I'm just your someone you know." Kahit hindi siya nakatingin sa lalaki ay ramdam niya ang galit nito.

"I'm sorry. I'm just stating the fact. We're not friends either." Sagot nito na mas lalong kinagalit ni Louie.

"So yung ethan na yun nakilala mo lang kanina, kaibigan mo na ? How about me?! Who am I in your life! Fuck! Answer me now!"

Nagulat siya ng biglang sumigaw ito, hindi niya alam kung ano ang isasagot. Ayaw niya man saktan ito pero mas ikabubuti niya to.

"Do you like me?" She asked him out of nowhere.
"Do you find me attractive all of a sudden?" She asked again. Louie seems his mind went off.

He's acting like a jealous one. And he knew it for sure.

"Why aren't you answering?"

"How could you ask about it so directly?" Louie said as he feel the beat of his heart.

Should he confess? Or should he hold back?

"You owe me something, remember? And in return just be my girlfriend."

Halos hindi makagalaw si athena sa kinalalagyan nito. All she can heard was her heart beating like crazy.

But in her mind..
He's the reason why those mean girls tried to harm her.
He's also the reason why her life became a mess.

Bumuntong hininga siya bago nagsalita. Umiwas siya ng tingin. She couldn't gaze right into his face.

"I'm sorry. I won't accept you in my life since you're the reason why I ended up here. Sinaktan nila ako ng dahil sayo, Sinaktan nila ako dahil naiingit sila Louie. Please.. huwag mo na akong lapitan. Hindi sa takot ako masaktan ulit, kundi dahil para din naman sayo to."

"And let's just keep things the way they are. I'll run an errands for you."

And with that Louie clenched his fists and left without a word.
