*Chaeyoung's POV*
I sighed as I put down yet another file. I was burnt out from the back to back projects but there was nothing I could do about it. Life was really not that great after Jeongyeon went away. I couldn't even fully believe that she was just gone. I try not to show my sadness to others especially Mina, I don't want to worry her too much. I try to be there for her as much as I could but I'm not forgetting to take some time for myself too.
I rubbed my eyes and sat back. I closed my eyes and put my head back.
"Ma'am, you're okay?" A voice startled me.
"Oh, yeah yeah. I was just taking a break. Come in Seulgi." I said waving her in. She was my assistance. I didn't really see why I need an assistance but dad insisted and I didn't really know what to do.
"These came for you." She smiled at me and sat down a package. I nodded my head and said thank you.
"You seem tired, how about we go for a coffee?" She asked.
"Yeah why not? Let me take my jacket." I said as I got up.
The coffee shop was really crowded so we decided to just take the coffee and walk around the park. We weren't really talking much and it was kind of awkward.
"How's everything?" I asked trying my best to make this situation less awkward.
"Yeah everything's been good. I just don't know if my head is in the right place or not." Seulgi said and I nodded.
"It's just after college everything has been hectic. I wanted to do so much before I settled down to work but... I'm not saying i hate this job-"
"You don't hate this job?" I asked her with wide eyes and we both burst out laughing.
"Alright maybe a bit. After Ms.Yoo... everything is chaotic, everyday is just work work and work. I mean you out of all people might know that ma'am."
"Seulgi how long have we gone over this, call me Chaeyoung. And you are right but... I don't know what to say to you, I was going to motivate you a bit but I don't think it will work out that well. What you're feeling right now is frustration right?" I asked as we stopped walking and I faced her.
"Yeah"
"Come on then!" I said as I started walking. She was confused but she caught up with my pace.
After 30 minutes we arrived at the destination. It was a mall. We got out and she looked at me with a very confusing look.
"You want to shop?!"
"Nope, come on!" I said and started to walk again.
"Ta da!" I said elegantly displaying the punching mannequin at the gym. She rolled her eyes.
"You're a kid aren't you?" She asked and I pouted.
"Don't judge till you try." I said throwing her the gloves. She started and I moved a bit back seeing the punches she was throwing.
"I used to come here regularly and I think they replaced the machines, which is not surprising considering the punches I pulled." I said slightly exaggerating and she laughed as she kicked the mannequin for the last time.
Wow, remind me to not be around her when she is angry.
"Let's see what you got."
"What? That ring is not- no, seulgi what the heck? Stop pushing me!" She pushed me towards the ring after throwing me the gloves. I gulped as she entered the ring. I was going to back away but my pride was not allowing me to do that.
