The Girl From Company 7 (Scenario)
Shinra, Arthur, and Vulcan react to a cute girl who happens to be a member of Special Fire Force Company 7

°Shinra Kusakabe°
• When Company 8 had decided to travel to Asakusa to further investigate the White-Clad that's when he first bumped into you, quite literally
• He was quick to apologize and also to notice the uniform pants you wore, so of course he asked if you were a Fire Soldier
• He's dragged away by Maki and the rest of Company 8 but you guys meet up again sometime after meeting Benimaru
• Straight up wonders how you can deal with such a coughterrifyingcough temperamental captain like Captain Shinmon
• Starts to wonder if maybe there was a mix up and you belong to a different company altogether
• I mean, Company 7 ain't no joke
• Then he starts to take notice of how even though you're a lot smaller than a lot of your squad mates, they all seem to respect the Hell out of you
• "Well...maybe I'm worried over nothing."
• Then there's an infernal sighted and before he can even rush in and play Hero, you've already subdued thing
• And since the infernal was a stranger attempting to infiltrate Asakusa and Company 7, you turned to Shinra with a smile as you pinned down the inflamed perpetrator with a single hand
• "Would you mind starting the prayer, Shinra? I'm not really too familiar with it and there's really no point in sending a stranger off with our customs."
• Blinks in silence as he starts to grin
• "...I was definitely worried over nothing..."
• "Hm? What was that?"
• "O-oh, um nothing! The flame is the soul's breath-"
• Makes a mental note to not get on your bad side, not that he'd ever want to

• Doesn't meet you until he and Shinra start training under Captain Shinmon
• Come to find out, Captain Shinmon had another apprentice, or so said the twins
• Hardly even bat an eye until you stepped out into the training grounds
• "Pardon the intrusion Sensei, but I- oh! We have visitors...? Please excuse me!"
• You glanced over the two boys and bow politely and quickly before moving to talk to Captain Shinmon about something Arthur couldn't care less about- he was far too busy taking in the view
• "Dude cut it out, it's rude to stare," Shinra half whispered
• "I...don't know if can."
• "...Wow, D'you forget how? I knew you were stupid, but geez."
• "Shut your mouth, Devil."
• Right after he tries his usual tactic of "Swearing his legiance to the gorgeous princess", he shoots you one of his "irresistible smirks" only to get rejected
• "I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm really in need of a 'knight' to protect me..."
• He looks dejected but he doesn't look away- probably because he can't
• "Although..," you start and he perks up
• "Although...?"
• You chuckle a bit and give his forearm a squeeze
• "I definitely wouldn't mind spending some more time with you...whenever you're free, that is," you finished with a smile that makes his heart quiver
• But he's still playing it cool
• Or trying to, anyway
• "U-uh yea. Sounds," he clears his throat ,"sounds perfect."
• He's back to smirking but his eyes and pink cheeks betray him- he's trying not to seem too excited but it's all in his voice. You nod.
• " 'Kay, see you 'round?" you give a small wave as you turn on your heel and he calls out an almost nervous response watching you leave
• A low whistle followed by an amused chuckle snaps him back into reality
• "Boy Arthur, that was just too smooth," Shinra can hardly contain his laughter
• "I'm gonna wipe that stupid smirk off your face for good, Devil. Excalibur!"
°Vulcan Joseph°
• Legitimately doesn't care which Company you're from because he's too busy tinkering to acknowledge you and Lieutenant Konro walk through the 8th's door
• He doesn't know what business you guys have there in the city but he doesn't exactly care either, not like it's got anything to do with him
• Or so he thought
• Doesn't look up from his creation until he feels your presence behind him
• "You uh need something-"
• Breath catches in his throat because not only are you cute, but you're a lot closer than he thought you'd be when he finally looks over his left shoulder
• Finally realizing how close you are, you stand up straight, stepping back a bit with a giggle
• "Sorry 'bout that! I can be a little nosy sometimes-"
• "A little?" you shoot a halfhearted glare back at your lieutenant before looking back over to Vulcan apologetically
• After Captain Obi steps out to offer an explanation to everyone, he explains that yes, while technically under Company 7, that you were studying to also become an engineer so you could be multifaceted enough to help out your company on both sides of the spectrum- that's where Vulcan came in
• He was supposed to be taking you under his wing but while you had an eye for parts, you were just a bit of a scatterbrain
• But he'd be lying if he said he didn't think it was cute
• "Vulcan!" he looked up from his newest project at the call of his name ,"Have you seen my glasses? I've looked everywhere!"
• Looking up at you from his spot on the ground, he paused for a moment, unable to stop himself from snorting
• "They're uh on top of your head, (Name)."
• He watched as you felt for them, immediately bringing your hand to your face in shame after you found them
• "I'm actually an idiot."
• He laughed
• "No you aren't. Here, come take a look at this real quick."
• You seemed to recover pretty quickly, bouncing over excitedly
• "Sure thing!"
