Continuation.......

Once I read his text a couple got my attention. It's Diana and Ezequiel right next to me paying also some errands Ezequiel got for Diana. I didn't notice them earlier ha.

I hid myself from them kahit na nasa gilid lang nila ako. Yumuko nalang ako para hindi nila ako makita.

"Ma'am cash or credit?" napa-angat ako ng tingin sa cashier, I gave her my card without speaking.

I waited until the cashier finish her job and quickly get the paper bags and immediately and walk away. I heard the cashier murmur "Ang sungit naman non tsk.."I want to go back and apologize but I can't.

Nasasaktan ako kapag magkasama sila at nakikitang masaya sila. Why can I just be happy for them?

"Oh...Cat, here's your water."abot sa'kin ni Jacob ng water bottle.

"Did you know?"napalingon ako sa kanya.

"I know."Simpleng sabi ko habang nakatingin ng deretso sa mga mata n'ya.

Tumingin ako sa langit at napabuntong hininga"I'm happy for them actually."pekeng ngiti ko at ininom nalang ang tubig. Dalawang linggo  na rin kasi yung nakakaraan nung nakita ko sila sa mall and after one week nalaman kong sila na.

"I know you're not."napatingin ako kay Jacob dahil sa sinabi n'ya.

"You know Jacob, I'm the one who's with him all the time. I'm his support system. The one who got his back when he gave up in some things and all that stuff, but I'm the one who fell in love because of how the way he treats me, I thought I was special to him but I'm not. I expect na he feels the same too, but sobrang delusional lang siguro ako."

"Sometimes I wish. I was brave enough to tell him that I have feelings for him. Like you, you're brave enough to tell me that you liked me." Ginawaran ko ng ngiti si  Jacob.

I know Jacob's like me since we are 10, s'ya ang huling dumating sa neighborhood namin kaming tatlo. Lagi sila ni Ezequiel ang magkakasama sa lahat ng bagay.

"But, I still like you." bulong ni Jacob ngunit  narinig ko iyon.

"If I can only thought my heart to like you back and forget Ezequiel. I will do that, but my hearts wants him, I'm sorry. If I will turned you down again. Jacob,"I said, I stand up and face him.

"Thank you so much Jacob."I said and gave him a smile before I walked away.

3 days later......

"Happy birthday to you anak,"Sabi ni Daddy at niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

"Thanks Dad."I said and gave him a smile.

"Happy birthday to my unika iha." Sabi ni Mommy and handed me a small box of gift.

"Open it anak,"excited na sabi ni Mom, I open it and I saw a silver necklace with a sun pendant.

"Thanks mommy, I love it."I said and kissed my both parents.

"Btw, hindi ba kayo magcecelebrate ni Ezequiel together?"Tanong ni Dad, ngayon ay nasa hapag na kami at kumakain ng niluto ni mommy for my birthday.

"Nope, I asked him about that and he said he would spend his day with his girlfriend." walang gana kong sabi.

"But you like Ezequiel?"Tanong ni Mom, yes alam nila parehas na may gusto ako kay Ezequiel.

"Yes Mom, but he like someone else, I don't want to interfere his love life naman na, I'm moving on na po."matamlay na sabi ko sakanila.

"I know you anak, you can't just move on easily, I know your sad because of what Ezequiel do." Ani ni Mom, Hindi ko nalang iyon pinakinggan at tinuloy ang pagkain ko.

"Well particularly Ezequiel's company are in danger,"napatingin ako kay Dad dahil sa sinabi nya.

"Why po?"naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Ezequiel's father used his company money para magsugal, maybe he's too confident and sa hindi inaasahan sunod-sunod ang talo n'ya, he's in big dept right now, earlier he wants me to help him rise his empire again."Sabi ni Dad.

"Dad pwede nyo ba ako ipakasal kay Ezequiel?" out of nowhere nasabi ko iyon. Hindi rin ako makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.

"Nevermind, Alis na po ako.....Thank you Mom and Dad....Baka po malate pa ako, Iloveyou both.....Sa condo ko po ako magiistay muna....Thank you"I said and make my way to our door.
