Its been 8 months since rm proposed to me for marriage, after that day its been the 7th time i rejected his marriage proposal last month, for the first 3 times , i felt really awkward and bad, but after that it became a monthly ritual, also you guys must know he is really creative in his ways of proposing, once he did it with han river fire works, once in the ice skating rink, once on a cruise trip and at many exotic places in and around seoul, and every time i had to reject him, the reason is simple, even though i love him and care for him and wish to spend my whole life with him, i am just too young to marry, i am just 22 yrs old, i just began a dating life , i really don't understand why can't we date for some years and then marry? in korea people get married usually in their mid thirties , why is he in such a hurry? he hasn't even completed his army training , when i asked him the reason for his continuous trains of proposal, he replied saying , he lost something really precious to him in the past, he doesn't want to loose me ever again, he also has been acting strange, i caught him multiple times crying near a tree in the dorm's garden, he is totally strange since the last few months, on the other hand, i have been smitten by him completely, i am loving how caring and understanding he is, our relation has become of that kind where even silence is comfortable and words are understood without being said.
So i thought , whats wrong in being married early? i talked with my parents yesterday, they were shocked by listening the words like early marriage from their career oriented daughter but later agreed with my decisions, so to day i booked an appointment at piaget , a luxury couple rings brand to buy our wedding rings and propose to rm my self like the modern woman i was.

I just got out of the showroom when v called me , speaking in a flustered voice " riya , i have sent you the location, come here as fast as you can, rm ... rm had ..... an accident!!"
before i could even ask anything the call got cut, i saw the text v had sent to me, it was a maps link, i clicked that link and the directions to the location were displayed, without thinking anything i dumped the rings into my bag and rushed towards my car, after driving for about 2 hours , i was in an area called illsan , in front of a posh looking traditional house, this made me think if he had an accident why is he not in the hospital but here, what is happening?
brushing aside my thoughts i rushed in to see all bts members looking down on the floor, and rm seated on the floor on his knees with his hands up as if in some punishment, then i saw on the sofa an aged couple seated , with the lady holding a stick in her hand and the gentleman looking like the aged version of rm, i understood they were his parents, i bowed in front of them according to the korean etiquette , and asked " i was told he had an accident?" looking towards rm, them his mom spoke " ofcourse he did, is it less than an accident if i hit him with this stick?" this actually made me gulp , then i went down on my knees as well, taking everyone in the room by surprise and said " i am sorry ma'am, if he did something wrong, as his manager it is purely my fault, i am sorry i couldn't take care of your son well, please punish me instead" after saying this i didn't dare to look at her face, then she spoke " hmm come to think of it , its your fault as well, if you being such a beauty were dating my son since the last year , don't you think you should come and greet your mother inlaw? seeing how well mannered and sensible you are , how did you forget such an important duty of your's? and what is wrong in being married early? stop wasting time , marry him and become the daughter i always wanted to have, i would love to see both my son and daughter succeed in their careers, seeing how impressive you are at your work why don't we both start our own fashion line? even i am bored living with this boring man in the house for long"
i was actually surprised by how cool she was, she was practically like jean's mother , if they both knew each other they could be best of friends, this made me look up and smile at her , then i said " your wish my command mother in law" at this she said " what mother inlaw , so out dated, call me mom" i giggled and nodded, then in the same on knees position, i turned towards rm, who was staring at both of us in shock till now, i took out the rings from my bag and showed them to him, and asked " so mr. kim , do you accept me as mrs. kim ?
he had tears in his eyes, and then he nodded like a maniac before grabbing the ring and placing it onto my left finger , i did the same for him, and we hugged each other, in the hug he promised me " i will always stay with you, even death can't be the reason for us parting" this brought a huge smile on my face, then we got up and were showered with hugs and kisses from rm's parents and all the bts members also to my surprise, i saw jin holding the phone with a conference video call from vasudha and my parents, my parents happily looking at their daughter taking a new step in her life, while vasudha jumping up and down with the excitement,
everyone was so happy , so content , we clicked many pictures to upload the announcement of our marriage on the social media accounts, it was a fabulous day , but little did we know, it was also the last happy day of our lives.
