Janus clenched his fists and growled.
"You want me to leave? After Virgil obviously cheated on me, with you?"

Roman looked baffled.
"We didn't... Er... Virgil only felt lonely and-"

Janus felt bewildered.
"You're lying..."
Roman quickly looked around. "Lying? Of course I'm not- Me? Lying? To you? Pfft!"

Janus felt like an utter idiot. "You're not even them two, are you?..."

Roman sighed deeply. "Geez, about time you caught on!" He closed his eyes and now Remus stood in front of him.

The fake Virgil suddenly snapped his neck and fell to the floor, his limbs cracking and turning to unhealthy angels before it disappeared into black mist.

Remus grinned. "Wow, you're really slow sometimes, Dee."

"I... I don't understand. Why were you and one of your clones..."

Remus cackled. "Wow, we got a slow turner over here! Virgil baaasically doesn't love you anymore so he asked me to help him get rid of you!" He let out a chuckle. "And it almost worked!"

Janus felt rage build up in his chest. "That little... And you helped him?"

Remus nodded. "I did get to sleep with him if I helped him..." Remus purred.

Janus felt sick to his stomach. How couldn't he have seen this coming? Virgil left the dark sides, and now he was leaving him.

Janus cried out in rage and slammed his foot on the ground.

He ran back towards his own room, Remus laughing behind him. That bastard.

His breathing started to become heavier as he ran further and further back in Thomas' Mind.

Thomas wouldn't miss him. No one would. He had been so stupid! He clenched his fists and looked around. It was dark, and cold. It was Thomas' back mind, where Logan stored things he didn't need anymore. Like his old teddy bears and middle school writings. He would fit in nicely here.

No one would remember him, and he could just drift away together with old memories...
