"Holly!" a voice woke me up. "what?" I groaned. "The hospital called and said that exactly one week from now you will have surgery!" Beth says excitedly.
"oh, and no buts and no rescheduling, they said that they are very busy and that they only sneaked you in" she adds.
I hummed as response, I didn't want to wake up since there is nothing for me to do. Beth soon shakes me again "get up and get some breakfast!".
I groaned giving up and putting my arm up as a signal for her to guide me. Beth got the signal and helped me get to the kitchen.
I was soon sat down and the scent of coffee was all over the kitchen. "any news or messages for me? Like from my mom or anyone in general?" I asked blowing on my coffee.
"no, for me there is many messages from boys" Beth laughs. Isn't she like 30? "aren't you like 30?" I took a sip from my coffee.
"w— yes, but I bet you, I still look young! and the man that sent me a letter is only a year older than me!" Beth defends herself.
ahh, I love messing with her.. "so he's 31?" I teased her more. "yes, can we stop talking about it?!?" Beth says annoyed.
"okay then.." I chuckled taking another sip from my coffee. "what about that Finn boy huh?" Beth brought up.
I don't know! what about him?!? I haven't heard from him! I haven't seen him! "I don't know" I say bluntly.
"he seemed really into you? I'm very convinced he's l'unico!" Beth says excitedly.
"I think I was just his vacation friend, nothing else" I muttered. It's true, I don't think he sees me as anything else. Just a vacation friend.
"I hope he goes back" Beth says. I stayed silent, I didn't know what to say. there's nothing to say.

"I don't know? There were a lot of old people tho! you want me to hook you up with one?" I joked.
"If they're rich then fuck yeah!" Jack laughs. "no but seriously did you meet anyone?" Jaeden asks.
"I guess?" I questioned. "she hot?" Wyatt laughs "well, I mean I guess? she's blind though so like its a plus" I smiled at the thought of her.
"A plus? That's a fucking minus!" Noah comes running in. why the fuck is he here?
"stop being mean noah" Jeremy tells him. "Yeah! And what the fuck do you know about plus or minus?" Wyatt fights. I stayed silent not knowing what else to say.
"do you guys want some tacos?... m-my treat" Jaeden tries breaking the silence. The boys all yelled and agreed to tacos.
