7 Days before surgery
"Il me parle tout bas Je vois la vie en rose. Il me dit des mots d'amour" Beth sings along to the record player.
La vie en rose is definitely one of my favorites that Beth plays over and over again, I managed to even memorize it.
"Des mots de tous les jours Et ça me fait quelque chose." I sang along.
"you memorized it?" Beth asks. "no, but yeah?" I answered in more of a question.
"well yes cause you keep playing it over and over again and I ended up liking it you know?" I added to my previous answer.
"yeah, also have you taken your medications?" Beth suddenly stops the music.
"no I haven't" I completely forgot about medications, after I said that I haven't taken my medicine. I heard Beth shuffling around.
The audible sound of pills shaking around the bottle can be heard from the kitchen, soon Beth approaches me "here you go".
I put my hand out and Beth drops the pills on my palm, I put the pill in my mouth and Beth gives me a glass of water.
"I'm excited for you" I could feel her smile as she said that.
"for what?" I chuckle slightly. "For your surgery! What else would it be?!?" Beth laughs.
I laughed along, "do you think guys would go for me now?" I ask out of nowhere.
I don't know, its just something that popped up in my head. "what do you mean?" Beth asks.
"Like, would guys like me better after surgery? Like me being able to see them and stuff?" I shuffled in my chair.
"ofcourse they would" Beth puts a strand of hair behind my ear. "they always did" she finished.
