Chapter 2

Hi guys!!!! I hope you wanted an update because you got one! I’m super excited about this story and I hope that you are too. This chapter might not be as long as the last but enjoy!

Harry’s POV

I hear the sound of my alarm clock, again. I really hate this thing. I roll over and turn it off then sit up and stretch. I get up and get ready like I did yesterday, and the day before, and the day before. You get it. 

I walk downstairs, as I go to yell goodbye to my mum she calls my name from the kitchen. I walk over and see her standing with a plate of food. “I woke up early this morning and i couldn’t fall back asleep. I don’t have work for another hour so i was wondering if you wanted to eat with me and I’ll drive you to school?” she said with pleading eyes. 

Me and mum haven’t had much time to just sit down and eat together lately. To say i miss sitting down and eating dinner with her or just sitting on the couch watching a stupid movie together was a total understatement. “Sure mum,” i say after a few seconds. I grab one of the plates from her hands and sit down. She sits down next to me and we just talk about everything and nothing. 

“So, are there any cute boys at your school?” she asks looking at me. Yes, I am gay and most people are aware of that. I came out to my mum when I was in Junior High. She was super sweet about it. Never said anything mean and was just so excepting.

“Not really, it’s the same people from years prior except for the freshmen but I don’t really pay attention to them because the ones who are gay are to afraid to say anything.” i say with a shrug.

“Oh ok, well you tell me when there is a cute boy that catches your attention,” she says with a slight smile. “Oh! We have to go or you’re going to be late!” she says and stands up, taking our plates to the sink. I walk out the door and get in her car as she locks the front door. 

She gets in the car and starts it. The radio turns on and its playing a song that both her and I know so we both hum along. In no time we are in front of my school. I turn to my mom before I open my door. “Bye sweetie, have a great day. And, look out for any cute boys because, you never know.” she says and smiles.

“Bye mum, I will definitely look out for any cute boys,” I say sarcastically and we both laugh. 

“Ok but seriously, have a good day,” she says and gives me a stern look.

“Will do. Bye mum, love you,” I say opening the car door and getting out.

“I love you too, dear,” I close the car door and start walking into school with a small smile on my face.

Once I’m at my locker Niall and Liam show up. “Hey guys,” I said and smiled at them.

“Someones happy,” Liam said.

“You finally get laid?” Niall said and we all laughed. 

“No, still a virgin,” I said and rolled my eyes as we kept laughing.

“So tell us curly, what has you so happy this morning,” Liam said after our laughter had died down.

“Me and my mum had breakfast together this morning and we talked and she drove me to school and it was really nice. I've missed having breakfast with her. You lads know that me and her don't get to do much together so you understand, right?” I said ranting about missing my mum.

“Yeah we get it. We’re glad you got spend time with your mum,” Liam said for both him and Niall. Just as i was about to say something, the bell rang signalling us to go to class. “Well, see you at lunch,” Liam said and him and Niall walked off to their class as i walked to my own. 

Once i got there, i made my way to the back of the class and sat down. Then, a new student walked in. he was tall, had dirty blonde hair and a lip ring on the left side of his mouth. The teacher pointed him in my direction seeing as the seat next to me was the only seat open. He walked over and smiled at me as he sat down. “Hi, my name is Luke. I’m new if you can’t tell,” he said and laughed then held out his hand.

I grasped his hand firmly and said “Hi, I’m Harry Styles and I’m not new if you can’t tell,” and we both laughed.
