Hey guys! I really wanted to update so thats how we ended up here! We might switch POV’s during the chapter today! Anygaysss, enjoy!
Harry’s POV
Luke is a really nice guy! Hes super funny and sweet. We spent the whole period laughing our asses off. I invited him to eat lunch with Liam, Niall, and myself. He happily accepted which made me happy.
After third period I was walking to lunch like normal, when a dirty blonde, dimpled boy walked right into me. “Harry! I’m so sorry!” Luke said as he helped me get up from the floor.
“It’s fine,” I said laughing at him. “How’s the first day going so far?” I ask with real curiosity.
“It’s been pretty good so far! How has your day been?” he asks as we start walking towards the lunch area.
“Pretty good. Just a normal day at school,” I say and shrug. We walk up to the table and surprise surprise, Niall is stuffing his face. I sit down and motion for Luke to sit next to me.
“Hey, I’m Niall,” Niall says and sticks out his hand for Luke to shake.
Luke grips Niall's hand and shakes it. “I’m Luke, I’m new.” Luke said as he took his hand out of Nialls.
Niall's POV
I see Harry and a new kid come over to the table. Harry sits down and motions for the new kid to follow suit. I finish what’s in my mouth-because I know harry hates when I talk with my mouth full- “Hey, I’m Niall,” I say and stick my hand out for him to shake.
He grabs my hand and shakes it. “I’m Luke, I’m new,” he said with a smile.
“I figured,” I laughed as did the other two boys. Then, Liam comes up behind me and sits next to me. “Hey Li!” I say and hug him.
“Hi Nialler,” he says and hugs me back. Harry leans into Luke’s ear and whispers something, what? It’s a myst-
I get pulled out of my thoughts with a loud laugh coming from Luke.
“What is so funny?” Liam asks as if he can read my mind.
“Nothing,” Harry says with a suspicious look on his face.
“Anyways, I need to take a wee,” I say getting up and motioning to Harry to follow me.
“Oh, me too!” Harry says as he sees the sign. We both get up and walk into an empty room by the restrooms. Once we get in there, I close and lock the door. “What do you need Niall?” Harry asks giving me a look of confusion.
“I thought you didn't want anymore friends?” I ask.
“I know Ni, but he’s so nice! And he’s gay too,” Harry says with a look on his face. If you saw it you would think he likes someone.
“Harry, I know what you go through everyd-”
“Niall, it’s getting better!” Harry says.
“And what’s gonna happen when it gets bad again? Are you gonna tell him? If you do something stupid, are we going to have to tell him why you aren’t around anymore?” I ask thinking of all the possibilities.
Harry’s POV
Niall made a really good point. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I have severe depression. Niall and Liam are the only people I’ve actually told about it. I haven’t even told my mom yet. I once tried to tell Gemma (my sister who is in college) about it but i got to scared and didn’t.
“I don’t know Niall. I haven’t really thought that far ahead. He got put next to me in first period and I’ve been having a really good few days and I kinda forgot so I made a friend…” I say feeling my eyes start to water.
“Hey, everythings gonna be ok, alright?” Niall says walking over to me and pulling me into a tight hug.
“Thanks Ni,” I say pulling out of the hug after a few moments. He gives me a slight smile as he wipes away a tear that had slipped out.
“We’re gonna be alright. Everything will be ok.” He says and opens the door. We start walking back to the table. When we get there, we see Liam and Luke laughing. I smile and go back to sitting next to Luke.
After lunch was over, we all went our separate ways and went to class.

It was the last five minutes of class and I was waiting in pure agony. I wanted to leave so bad and go hang out with my friends! I’ve been feeling really good lately and I’m very happy about that. Hopefully I feel this good for awhile, because that doesn’t happen very oft-
And just like that, I was cut out of my thoughts by the bell ringing. I shot up from my desk and ran towards the door. I saw Niall standing there, waiting for me and Liam. He didn’t see me so when I said hi, he jumped.
“Oh Harry! You scared me,” he said laughing. We waited in a peaceful silence or Liam. After a few minutes I see Liam.
“There he is,” I tell Niall and we start walking over to him. But, he’s walking and laughing with Luke. “Hey guys,” I say as we reach them.
“Hey Harry,” Luke says giving me his full attention. He pulls me into a hug and I immediately hug him back. I’m a tall guy, about 6’0. But next to Luke I’m quiet short, hes about 6’4 and that’s tall!
Liam and Niall end up talking to each other and I assume they are talking about mine and Nialls discussion at lunch. “So Harry, how was your day?” Luke asked.
“It was good, a normal day at school, ya know?” I said and he laughed. “How was your day? Oh! Today was your first day! Right! How was it?” I asked, my curiosity growing more and more.
“It was really good! I really like it here! And, there’s this really cute guy,” Luke says and I can’t help but feel a little bit jealous.
“Oh yeah? Who?” I asked, jealousy clear in my voice.
“Well, he has curly brown hair, bright green eyes, and two big dimples,” he says smiling.
I blush realising hes talking about me. “Well, I’m sure whoever this guy is, he likes you too,” I say and turn to smile brightly at him.
“Alright lads, you ready?” Liam says and we nod our heads yes and start walking to Niall's car. Liam had asked Luke if he needed a ride home and he said yes. Liam didn’t Niall first but Niall didn’t care. But, that’s just the type of person Niall is.
I get in the backseat with Luke while Liam sits shotgun. Liam is the first to be dropped of, like always. Then it’s Luke-which is new so we’ll have to add that to our schedule. Then, last but not least, it’s me. We all live very close to the school. Which is helpful for Niall, so he doesn’t have to waist so much money on gas.
We arrive at my house and I turn to tell Niall thank you. “Thanks for the ride home Ni, I’ll text you later!” I say with a big smile as I get out of his car.
“No problem Haz, and, I like it when you look like this. It suits you.” he says and gives me a smile. I close the car door and wave, then walk up to the house. I pull out my key and unlock the door. I walk in and Mum is nowhere to be seen. That is normal though, shes at work right now so I just have to wait until she gets home to tell her all about my day!
