Chapter 101: Relentless Snake

[Passageway]

When Kaido suddenly woke up from his slumber, he was breathing so roughly that it even made others wonder if he saw a ghost in his dream

Due to his sudden reaction both Mia and Lily were a little bit surprised but after Kaido denied their thoughts they discarded anyway

Because they were able to take a rest for quite some time, they successfully regained their strength and prepared to head out again

It took them quite some time inside the passageway as it took them almost everywhere as time passes

Inspite of all of this they still managed to find the exit at the top of the pile of rubbles

When they got out the Ray of the sun shine on them that it made them squint their eyes because of its brightness

After some time they finally relaxed as they saw the lush green forest in front of them that indicated that they have successfully crawled out from the dark passageway

"We finally made it out! I really thought we would be stuck there" stated Mia as he breaths in the fresh air around her

"Hahahaha! I'm pretty sure that even if we didn't find any exit Kaido would surely make an exit forcefully" laughed aside Lily who clung to Mia for support

"Your right!" Agreed Mia

And with that both of them laughed while for the person in question himself walked to the nearby trees and observed his surroundings

After looking around he saw tracks on the ground

"Tracks?" He exclaimed

After deducting something he returned to where both Mia and Lily is

As he approached he said

"Looks like they're are tracks and by it's size I concluded that it belongs to a human" said Kaido

"Really? Then perhaps the others managed to get out earlier" deducted Mia

"If that is the case then we just have to regroup up with them" said Lily

"Your right!... Then shall we?" Suggested Mia

As they were talking about this the wall beside the exit crashed down as an enormous creature slid out from the crashed wall

"What the? That's impossible!" Exclaimed Mia

"That thing is really relentless" stated Lily with a grim expression

The creature that came out of the wall was none other the Stone Snake that they have encountered along the way

As it towers above them, it hissed at them in fury as it bares it's fangs while the other fang is damaged

With a hiss the stone Snake charged at them head on but in response to this Lily immediately casted a light barrier to protect the three of them from the attack

With one attack it caused a shockwave that shattered the barrier from just a single impact and blew away both Mia and Lily

"Kyaaa!!!" They screamed

Holding his ground Kaido immediately touched the ground as he made it restrain the Stone Snake from moving

As the earth covered the snake it hissed loudly causing the spikes to protuded out from his back

At that instant the stone snake sent a barrage of spikes straight at Kaido

"Crap!" Exclaimed Kaido as he defended himself from the attack
