Walking out of the icy pathway, Kaido slowly encountered Melfina and the surviving noble and aristocratic children waiting by the corner

When he arrived his proclaimed daughter walks up to him and immediately hugged him on his waist tightly

"Papa!!!" Cried Sui

"Have you been waiting for me that long?" Asked Kaido

"Umu!"replied Sui

"Well I'm here now so we're even"

After hearing that Sui nodded her head widely before showing a bright smile as she says

"I've always known you'll come to my rescue"

Hearing that Kaido felt calmness for the first time in a very long while

After that he led Sui by the hand while gesturing to Melfina and the other children to follow him

When they followed him, it didn't take long before they arrived at the location where the main army is located

Upon seeing him together with the missing children, some of the soldiers ran up to him together with the members of the Hero's party

"Kaido!!!" Called out Alda

"I never knew that the reason why your aren't in the battlefield was because you were busy saving them" he added as he pointed his finger at the children

"Looks like you prioritized your little girl" said Lily as she stands a little bit closer to Sui and patted her head together with Mia

"I'm glad you prioritized them, with that they won't have an advantage over us" praised Luke

For some reason due to their short time being acquainted with each other, the members of the Hero's party seemed to warm up to him, because for some reason they can somehow felt that Kaido was dependable

As Kaido remained silent inspite of all those praises, Mia elbowed him to his sides as she said

"Hey dummy! You've been praised! Be proud" she said

However Kaido didn't even say anything and simply gestured at the children, for a while the members of the Hero's party were confused by his actions until Alda started headcounting their numbers and slowly understanding what he meant

"Damn it! Kaido where are the other children?" He asked

In reply to that Kaido shook his head sideways before replying

"I didn't make it in time, by the time I arrived there already dozens of children are dead" he said

Upon hearing that Alda gritted his teeth as he replies on his own

"It's not your fault... . . We were... . . We weren't expecting this"

"You did your best Kaido... . ." Encouraged Lily

"No wonder the Ice suddenly went wild" pointed out Mia

"Yes! He must have gone berserk" added Luke

After hearing their false deduction Kaido simply raises a brow at them

As they talked however they all felt an intimidating aura coming their way causing them to be wary, when they turned their heads to the location of the aura, they saw Hibiki slowly but surely walking towards them while leaking out such immense aura that was previously not there

Due to this aura Kaido felt a tinge of irritation as he felt that for some reason, he really wanted to kill Hibiki

Unknown to him Hibiki also felt the same when he sensed Kaido's presence that seamed to leak out tiny bits of black aura, due to the aura he couldn't comprehend why he felt irritated and wants to kill him at his very spot
