Summer ~ Jegulus

Chapter 2

Sirius 2nd year and Regulus 1st year part one:

The summer before

The day Sirius came back Regulus made a cake. It was chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Regulus was so proud that he didn't paint at all that morning. Him and his father went to the train station and waited for the train. His father went to talk to one of his friends, while Regulus waited. When Sirius stepped off he slid a chocolate bar in a tall slender boys bag, Regulus noticed instantly how Sirius blushed. He also noticed the raven haired boy walking over to him with Sirius. 'He looks cute, but no homo.' Regulus thought to himself.

"REGGIE!" Sirius said once he saw Regulus. He ran up to Regulus and wrapped him in the biggest hug. "I missed you! I bet you missed me to, so lonely with all your friends you don't have over the summer!"

"Shut up! First off don't call me Reggie! Secondly I couldn't miss you it was so quite and nice! Third off I wasn't lonely I had my paintings!" Regulus said before realizing how lonely it sounded.

"Oh this is my best mate James!" Sirius said. That hurt Regulus a little because up until then he was Sirius's best friend. He didn't let it show because up until his mother died she taught him Black's don't show emotions.

"I bet y'all caused plenty of trouble this school year." Regulus said. The taller male put his hand out, Regulus took it.

"Yep we sure did! I am James Potter! I would think you are the famous Regulus Black Sirius talked about you all year. Every time we did a prank it was 'Regulus would hate this so much!' 'I miss Regulus so much!' 'I love my little broth-'"

"JAMES! I think it time you go find your family!"

"Hey James is the tall boy with scars Siri's boyfriend?" Regulus whispered.

"Not yet but they both like each other." James said smirking. "Well I'll be going now! See ya later Siri! Bye Reg!" James said walking off.

"Bye James!" Sirius shouted. Regulus just rolled his eyes. "Sooooooo how's my favorite brother?"

"I'm your only brother Sirius oh and I didn't know you liked guys." Regulus said smirking. Sirius's face turned bright red.

"W-what I d-don't know what your talking about."

"Please Sirius I saw the way you looked at that taller boy, oh and speaking of which he is coming over."

"I don't like him and uhhh do I look nice?"

"Yes Siri." Regulus said rolling his eyes. Sirius went to talk to the boy then gave him a hug that lasted a little to long before coming back. "Ready to go?"

"Yep, dad should be over there." Regulus said. After the found their dad they went home. Sirius loves the cake and ate half of it. After and between every meal Regulus and Sirius would ran up stairs to Regulus's studio. He would paint and Sirius would sing, mostly French songs because they where both fluent in it. Sirius had a great voice and Regulus could paint beautifully. When other people where around they would only talk to each other in French to annoy people.

When they where in each other's company painting and singing nobody could stop them. One day Sirius got a package from Remus with a radio in it. He send like five thank you letters to Remus. Sirius learns the lyrics to almost all the songs and sings along. Although Regulus feels some of the song are inappropriate.
