"IM BACK!" KAI YELLED, his voice echoing from each of the big walls of the house calling back to him. As he expected, the dreadful quietness. He hummed to himself and walked into the kitchen. Kai was quite famished after the day he had yesterday.

He put the bags on the marble countertops, taking out all of the groceries he picked up from the store. He decided on making a simple grilled cheese sandwich, keeping the butter, cheese, and bread out while everything else went in the fridge.

Kai waved a hand in front of Maeve's face as her head laid on her shoulders and mouth parted open slightly. Her curly locks blocked most of her face from his view.

It had been hours since Kai brought Maeve to the house he's been staying at since he entered Mystic falls, other than the Salvatore boarding house. "Sheesh." He said lowly poking at her cheek.

Soon he continued to cook and after he was done he sat at the end of the table, beside the girl. He munched away but not before burning himself from the hot cheese.

Kai started to become restless as he sipped on his glass of water and kicked the bottom of the chair roughly earning a groan to escape the Bennett witch's lips. The corners of his mouth twitched up into a crooked smile.

"Good, sleeping beauty's awake." Maeve's head lifted up gradually as she felt the strain on her neck, her eyes stayed shut tightly as the light seeped through her eyelids. "I think we got off on the wrong foot." Kai said placing the glass down.

"Nooo, let me sleep Bonnie." Her voice scratchy and raw, she groaned again barely comprehending the words that ran out of her own mouth. "Definitely not Bonnie." Kai's sonorous voice made her eyes shoot open. Maeve blinked adjusting the brightness of the kitchen. "Hi." He breathed out watching her eyes curiously roam the room.

Her eyes grew at causing Kai to chuckle."And you are...Maeve Bennett." She nodded her head slowly. "You." She gasped.

"Me?" He pointed to himself playfully, his eyes squinting and the permanent smirk never leaving his mouth. "Y-you shot me with an arrow." Maeve was on the urge of shouting at the witch, her blood was boiling. "Then healed you."  He pointed out.

"On a positive note, it feels good to see a new face." He leaned back in his chair putting his arms behind his head. "And a very pretty one." He winked taking another sip of his water. Maeve scowled at him but she could feel her face become flustered.

"Only seeing those two argue for the past two months got tiresome, quick, not to mention her constant outburst every other day which was partially entertaining. I was expecting a fight but noooo they just keep forgiving each...are you gonna be besties or enemies." Kai rambled on moving his hands around in the process.

"It was like a horrible TV show, wayyy worse than the one show I was watching the other day..." Kai continued to talk.

She yanked at her arms, rope securely wrapped around them holding her tightly onto the chair. "Not much of a talker?" Kai questioned. "Why am I tied up?" Maeve ignored him tugging at the rope but it didn't budge. "That's no use, I used my witchy woo and magically bonded them to you." He wiggled his fingers.
