World so cold

When I got to Sonic's room, he had each shirt laid out on the race car bed, the tags were taken off of the shirts already, he couldn't decide which of the shirts to wear I could tell as he looked at each of them, his shoulders slumped a bit. He definitely liked them all the same so picking one wasn't going to be easy for him on his own.

" I think you should wear the one I found, besides I was thinking maybe we could stay up and watch Speed if it's alright with Tom and Maddie." Sonic just turned his head and looked at me then gave me a smile.
" Hey that's not a bad idea, oh they won't mind besides it isn't like I have a bed time, I don't even have to go to school they have a no wild animal policy I guess that goes for space hedgehogs too right? Tom tried getting me enrolled in school but I wasn't allowed who knew but hey it isn't the end of the world, no bus no homework, it's a good life though."

I wasn't exactly familiar with school I guess I was home schooled back on the ark mainly learned self defense and how to control my powers, this blue hedgehog seemed to need a bit more training with his own he's still a pup in a way. Keeping one emotion was my thing on how to control my own powers sure I can express a little more than one after the raid I kinda forgot most my training so for now keeping a frown is easier for me.  Sonic's power is emotion based as well it seemed, ok not all of my powers are only chaos blast, it's mostly based on fear and anger, the more rage the more powerful the blast will be. 

" Alright so I guess we can watch Speed tonight then."
Sonic nodded before he quickly slid the shirt on, it fit him pretty well it almost went to his knees but he didn't care, he was happy.
As for me I just put the Star Wars shirt on after taking the tags off.   Everything was going fine so far, Sonic dashed down stairs to grab the movie then came back up.

" Tom and Maddie usually watch this about once a month it's one of their favorites, it's only if Tom had a  really hard time at work, Maddie would put it on to help Tom feel better. Tom mostly likes the action scenes. Back before I came into their lives, Tom used to fantasize on saving others, not much happens here in Green Hills as in no lives in need of rescue all the time.Maddie though is mostly helping animals in need when she's working. I used to watch them all the time ok maybe not all the time I mean there were a few instances when I broke in through a open window in a counseling office... the guy was probably on a lunch break but he left the window open,  being in the office acting like a patient laying on the couch in the office kinda helped  mentally even if I was just talking to myself acting like two different people, wearing someone's glasses,pretending to be a doctor I'd even bite the pencil while acting like I was reading off a clipboard or note pad.  Tom sometimes catches me talking to myself at times it's kind of an old habit."

I listened carefully as Sonic explained but things seemed to go a lot deeper as he put the movie into the tv. His ears drooped a bit as he explained what had occurred in the counseling office.  I didn't exactly mind that he talked to himself at times I mean the guy had lived alone most his life. I don't exactly know what that's like since I never did experience life on Earth.
" I kinda went a little overboard when it came to that night on the baseball field, I pretended to be a batter, a pitcher, and a few other guess even a player that had their mind elsewhere, a space case I guess... I got a bit too in character that when I won the game well...I guess that's when the realization kicked in. I ended up running to each base over whelmed with emotion with each step as I touched  each of the bases that were on the ground... well it ended up getting to be too much that I unleashed my energy. I didn't mean to be found or seen by anyone but well things have changed since that day, I don't exactly regret anything I mean I have a nice home now and a family now your here too, Shadow.  I'm actually glad that another hedgehog is around, I thought I was the only one left honestly."

It was kinda nice now that I think about it, it was nice to know that I wasn't the only hedgehog around as well, maybe I was meant to find Sonic but I brought danger with me, the guy from earlier, Agent Stone kinda had a certain aura on him, I had a feeling he was working with GUN though he didn't seem to recognize me but he knew the guy that had went after Sonic.    My thoughts were interrupted when the movie came on, we both sat in silence  as we watched the movie.   Once the movie ended we decided to go to bed I could see why it was one of Sonic's favorite movies, the action and  the fast paced scenes mostly kept his focus. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep, I didn't mind staying by Sonic while we slept.
