CHAPTER 5-Date night

I had called Kei to a cafe very popular among 3rd years , going to the Pallet would throw away any chance of being inconspicuous . And it was a good thing too , it seemed like none of the troublesome senpais I know were present.

"Hey" Kei arrived as I was beginning to space out.

Before I even looked at her clearly I blurted out

"You look very cute today"

That's right I had come across a blog that would make any first date a success.
I'll ace love.

"Aah ...thanks" Kei said whilst blushing.
She really was very cute today .

She had chosen to wear the same outfit she was wearing when I had confessed to her. Coincidentally I also wore the same out fit that I wore that day , it wasn't on purpose though , I simply switch between 3 similar looking shirts .
But something else was diffrent about her....

"You are wearing the necklace..."

"Yes,even I am surprised at how good I look with it "Kei said
"And besides now it is ok to wear this necklace because I am in a position where I can wear it"

I didn't understand why she wasn't in a position not to wear it before but I decided not to question her any more .

"I am happy that you wore it" I said what I genuinely felt.

"Thanks" she bent and lowered her voice
"Hey kiyotaka do you think people who know us might see us here"
"How should I know , I believe Kei is more knowledgeable about all the restaurants here than me , but personally , I do not believe there is a high chance for that as this is a predominantly 3rd year restuarant "

That was true,one may be puzzled at why the 3rd years mainly gather at this one place , but it was all made possible because of Nagumos lead , however even I do not know the exact details.

"Then I am glad" Kei moved back and relaxed.

We then ordered our food and waited.

"Kei..."

"Hmmm... what is it"

"Why do you want to keep our relationship a secret "

"Didn't I already tell you.."

"But that is not the real reason is it"

"....."

"Look , I dont think I am wrong here but you do not want our relationship to be known because it would make it difficult for me to secretly use you , without the fingers pointing at me , and you do not want to break the secret partner relationship that we have "

"I guess I really can't hide anything from Kiyotaka's eyes..."

"I want you to understand that I will not use you for anything major from now on , not because you wont be useful to me but because I can't put you in a risky situation . You know that I can manage most situations by myself "

Kei silently looked at me

"Its just that....you are not the tool I want to use , you are now the Karuizawa Kei that I need to be with".

Kei was visibly stunned

All of this for some reason came naturally to me , I have no idea if I had reached her or not but I waited for a reply .

"You really amaze me Kiyotaka...again and again" Kei finally spoke up.

"I was worried for a stupid reason , I am happy just being with you ."Kei said as she smiled softly.

If you tell Keisei or the other boys now that the real Karuizawa could be this nice and soft they would call me an idiot for mistaking April fools day for today .

After a huge burden had been lifted from our shoulders, we simply talked about every day things that was not really anything special to anybody but us.

"Hey why are you coming up to my floor? " Kei asked as we pressed the buttons in the lift.

"I am simply dropping you"I said

"If people see us...no no Its all right" Kei corrected herself

No one was there at the hallway at that moment .

We entered her room .

"Hmmm , why are you still here,you dropped me didn't you? "

No Kei dropping you would not suffice I had completed only six steps out of seven, I had one final step to make this date successful.

I grabbed Kei and immediately went for a kiss before she could even process anything.

She , obviously did not feel bad about the kiss , and even if I had not followed the steps she would not have rejected it,but I wanted to do so to increase our pleasure.

It was a nice warm feeling,something way better than a hug .

I have no idea how long we made out but by the looks of it Kei was blowing out fumes.

"Wha...wha..my first kiss..."

Apparently it was her first kiss too

"Goodnight Kei"I said immediately and closed the door . By doing this I made sure that the kiss is the only thing she would be able to think about this entire night.

As I was feeling proud of my success ..

"Ayankouji-Kun....?"

A really troublesome person has noticed me
