CHAPTER 12-Multiple events

I apologize for ruining the flow of the story but before I begin I'll have to point out the changes I have made in the exam -

* For event 1 , the individual class event the prizes on the basis of class points are 100 , 50 , -50 , -100 based on the rank the class obtain .
No change in the Knight system.

* For event 2 , the coalition event the prizes - winners secure 100 class points for each Grade .
Overall winners (considering all 3 grades) get additional 100 class points .
The private points each winner will get is a 100,000 points not 500,000 points .
No change in penalty.

I am sorry , but I had to make the changes to make it more fair and digestible considering the future .
I have also changed the same in the previous chapter.

Part 1

"Everyone calm down , before we begin do all of you understand the gist of the event ? " asked Yousuke.

Everyone nodded . It was obvious that not everything was understood , but it was better to ask questions based on the ongoing discussion .

"Since we have to submit our events and members tommorow , It'll be in our best interest to split the members today and verify the events by tommorow . "
Yousuke continued .

"How do you think they'll split ? seems kinda tricky to me " Matsushita whispered to me .

I had no idea if she was trying to start a normal conversation or analyzing my answer .

"It is tricky indeed , I don't think there are many talented actors are there in our class " I said so to keep up with the conversation .

However this was not how I truly felt .
We had a lot of talented actors in our class , I understood this over the past year by viewing Kushida , Kei , Hirata and a few other people . To bury a tragic past all of them wear the shoes of a completely different character.

Before she could respond , Horikita's voice filled the room

"If anyone is interested in joining event 2 please raise your hands now "

Not a lot of people wanted to raise considering the fact that of they lost they might be expelled and even though it was a 1 out of 5 chance , no average student would risk it .

Understanding the atmosphere in the class , Horikita once again tried to sooth their worries.

"Please do not worry about loss for now , I understand that it is more risky , but if you have confidence in your ability and fail to display them , then this will come to bite you later down the line anyways "
Even her words of comfort sounded depressing .

"Can't all the popular people like you , Kushida-San, Kurizawa-San and Hirata ho the event two , we have more chance of winning then " said Hondo .

That doesn't seem like the worst idea at first , but it has so many complications considering our class .

" I don't know about that , personally I believe that will not be the best strategy to implement , as I think that to increase our chance of winning in event one , either me or Horikita- san needs to be here . Of course I will participate in event two if all of you find my reasoning to be wrong . "
said Yousuke .

"No , no Hirata-kun you are right , we don't think it would be easy to do event one without your leadership " said one of the girls on behalf of all the girls .
Except few of course

One of them sat next to me .

"They are all probably worried that if Hirata chooses event two and loses , he'll probably drop out himself "
