(Set before Hazel and Vil learn they are soulmates)
It was no exaggeration that Vil went to extremes when it came to beauty. With his dorm being centered on vanity and such. He also knew that a certain female prefect didn't care much on looks, but then she was obliged to dress up for a gala that she had to attend. And by chance, Vil, Rook, and Epel had to attend as well.
Vil was also envious of Hazel because of her natural beauty, and that one time he thought her make up was lovely, but then she told him; 'I'm not wearing make-up', had caught him off-guard. Apparently being the Mistress of Death had it's perks.
At the gala, Epel pointed out that Hazel looked lovely once he spotted her.
And once Vil looked behind him, he thought that he never saw anything so lovely as he blushed.
Hazel was wearing a long, flowy sleeved dress that stopped at her ankles with a flowy sort of turn design at the bottom. Also accompanied with a black Cape with a red underside and gold edges perched on her shoulders, clasped together with a red jewel with white and gold accents and sits on the base of her neck directly in the middle. The dress itself was a more flowy sort of mermaid dress that complimented her figure. It was also mostly black with an azure blue tint and accents along the dress. With the rest of the dress being a regal purple color with white along the edges of the sleeves and black along the bottom edges of the dress as well as a red sash tied around her waist.
She looked like a royal that stepped out of a medieval fairy tale.
And Vil knew he had to have her as his Fair Maiden.
