Cassandra's POV
I entered the house feeling like my insides were about to explode, I groaned in pain as I walked over to the couch, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Hey", he leered at me and I looked at him,"even in pain your body never ceases to amaze me".
He approached me and pulled my hair.
"Ahhh", I yelped.
"I want you right now, but I don't want any complications", he eyed me up and let go of my hair.
He ran his hand down my face as I whimpered in pain.
He smiled,"but at-least now I can have you, anywhere, anytime, without being worried you would get pregnant and no more taking of that stupid expensive set of pills", he moved his lips to my ear,"it's a win win".
A piercing feeling of pure hatred and resentment went through my body as I glowered at him.
He smirked," your MINE and you always will be".
A tear rolled down my face, but I wasn't going to cry in front of him, I won't give him that satisfaction.
"Go rest up, we have a long journey tomorrow", he said walking away.
"To where?",I asked.
"I have to go to my hometown, Freeland to take care of "business" as soon as possible, I'm losing a lot of profits",he chuckled.
"For how long?".
"Until "business" starts moving again and you'll actually be going to school there, I'll be too busy to home school you".
"But Freeland is filled with Black people, I'll be the only white student at the school, I'll be the only person in Freeland", I said frustratedly.
"Oh jeez, I had not realized that",he laughed.
"That is not fair", I shot at him.
"Don't push it Cassandra, just get ready tomorrow", he said in a hoarse voice and walked away.
I knew better than to argue, I already had a lot of bruises on my body, I didn't want more.
I sniffled and touched the lower part of my abdomen.
The tears came streaming down my face uncontrollably in the realization that.
I was never in my life going to be a mother.
The hysterectomy was a success.
