third person's pov

"perfect!" jin speaks in a low whisper as he awes at his newly built sand castle, "oh! wait a second."

jin rips a small piece of paper from a sand covered flyer laying next to him and gets a pen from his backpack. he jolts a small message onto the small piece of paper that says:

'please do not ruin my sandcastle (again).'

"that person's probably not even going to look at it, but i might as well give it a chance 'cause i really need to pee," he muses.

jin's eyes stares at the little piece of paper on his palm and carefully settles it on top of his well built sand castle, trying not to fracture it. he built a 'sand' castle after all.

he rubs his palms together, trying to get all of that wet sand off of his pale hands and quickly walks to the community washrooms. here and there, he would turn around to check if his structure's still standing.

as soon as he gets outside of the stall, the sounds of hand dryers and chit chats of the guys beside him were visibly heard. he takes a quick glance at them and sees a blonde guy looking at him with a smirk on his face.

stunned by the eye contact that they shared, the boy turns his body to the door and quickly walks out of the community washroom.

"the hell?" seokjin quickly whips his head to look at himself on the mirror, checking if anything out of the ordinary was displayed on his face, "nothing, but why did he scurry out of the washrom?"

"he likes you," a cheeky voice from behind him spoke, "you're kinda his type."

"i get that, but why did he have to run away?" seokjin scrunches his nose and takes a few tissues, wiping his hands on it.

"he's pretty shy," the guy shrugs, "i'm jimin, nice to meet you."

"seokjin," he nods at the younger, "likewise."

"jimin, aren't we supposed to follow our dear friend?" a guy interrupts, "i'm sorry for him."

"you guys are college students aren't you?" seokjin asks, looking at the emblem embedded on the unnamed guy's jacket, "what are you guys doing here?"

"we skipped classes," jimin says with a smile playing on his face, "we're gonna graduate soon and we're just crossing some things out of our bucket lists."

"i'm two years away from graduating, you guys just dragged me out of class with some lame ass excuse."

"cheer up, at least you didn't have to listen to mrs. kim's boring lessons," jimin says, patting the guy's back, "we'll get going now, see you around seokjin!"

"use some honorifics at least," seokjin mumbles to himself, watching the two guys walk out of the community washrooms.

"they're weird, but amusing people i guess," seokjin throws the tissue away, walks back to his previous spot, and finds himself looking at a pile of wet sand and rocks instead of his sand castle.

"i swear to god! i'm done!" seokjin exclaims, kicking the small pebbles with his left foot.

seokjin grabs his things after a while of examining his doomed castle and sees a small piece of paper that had a note on his backpack.

"what do ghosts call their true love?
their ghoul-friend!"

he takes a look at the little scribbles on the side of the so called 'joke' and lets out a small chuckle before heading back to his car.
