third person's pov
"take care ahjumma!" seokjin shouts as he turns around to wave at the woman before leaving the grocery store. the older rubs the sweat off of his forehead using the back of his palm as he sighs heavily.
he looks up and sees the birds chirping and a sky with no clouds. he smiles at himself before getting in his car and driving to the beach.
"today's a nice day to go to the beach, isn't it?" he hums to himself, both of his hands still on the steering wheel.
seokjin keeps on driving until he sees a traffic light flashing a bright shade of red. seokjin looks over and picks up his phone, dialing namjoon's number.
"hey! joonie, can you meet me at the beach-?" he starts, but he gets interrupted by the sound of moans on the other line.
the older male's eyes become wide and realizes what type of situation namjoon was in, "uh, maybe i'll call- i mean text! yeah, text.. maybe i'll text you later when you're not so.. busy," seokjin says quickly, hanging up immediately afterwards
"maybe, yoongi?" seokjin's thumb hovers above the 'call' button, but remembers what he had heard a few seconds ago. "maybe i should text him instead," his words gets interrupted by the sound of a notification popping up from his phone screen.
his friend yoongi posted a picture of a recording studio, "yup, i should've known better," seokjin tosses his phone onto the empty passenger seat beside him and glances at the traffic light.
"i guess i should spend my free time by myself," seokjin muses.

seokjin inhales the scent of the ocean with his eyes closed, his hands were buried under the sand and his feet was being soaked in the salty water.
he was wearing shorts, so he wouldn't get wet by the water.
"seokjin," a voice whispers in his ear, making him shriek.
"jimin?" he puts his hand on his chest and tries to calm himself down, "what are you doing here?"
jimin shrugs and sits beside him.
"so you're not answering me now?" seokjin scoffs, splashing some water on jimin's face, "you scared the hell out of me."
jimin chuckles, "it was funny though."
"not when i almost had a heart attack," seokjin furrows his eyebrows and crosses his arm below his chest, "but really, what are you doing here?"
"i wanted to take a walk," jimin answers, looking ahead of him, "by the way, what do you think of the ocean?"
seokjin eyes him and quietly answers, "to me, it's like a person. it's sometimes calm and it's sometimes angry. we know a few parts of it and there are big chunks of it we have yet to discover."
jimin nods, "that's a nice answer, i'll use that for my essay."
"i shouldn't have answered it," seokjin sighs, making jimin giggle.
"so, you two are dating now, huh?" jimin wiggles his eyebrows, nudging seokjin's sides.
seokjin blushes, "who and what are you talking about?"
"you and taehyung of course," jimin smiles, his eyes turning into crescent moons.
