kim taehyung's pov

"look!" jungkook points at the two men in front of us. i follow jungkook's gaze and squint my eyes to examine the two very familiar men.

my eyes widen as my jaw drop. one in two of those men was jimin, while the other had broad shoulders, just like... seokjin.

"kook, hold this," i toss him my phone, not caring if he caught it as i run to the two near the water. i smile and hug the guy with broad shoulders. i catch jimin off guard when he and i hear seokjin shriek, "jinnie."

i whisper into his ear, smiling. seokjin immediately recognizes my voice and quietly says something back, "why are you not calling me hyung? and what are you doing here?" the older questions with a brow raised.

"i want to call you something else.. hun? honey? love-bunch? princess?" i jokingly ask, not answering any of his questions.

"ugh, this is getting cheesy, have fun y'all, don't fuck on the beach!" i turn my head to look at jimin and see him rolling his eyes.

"i can't keep that promise," i wink at jimin while he just snickers back at me.

i hug jin from the back even tighter, "why are you hugging me all of a sudden?" seokjin mumbles as a smile slowly creeps on his face, "well why can't i?"

"i don't know," seokjin shrugs and leaves me be. i smile to myself in victory and run after jimin, "wait up!".

---

"you two were so close, why don't you two just kiss already?" jungkook teases, "i don't want to scare him away," i put my hands up in defense.

"plus, i haven't known him for long.," my eyes travel down and stare at the sand, "seokjin, hey!" jimin calls out, turning his head to the side.

out of curiosity, i turn my head as well, only to be met with the sight of seokjin walking towards us. "we're starting a bonfire tonight, hyung! come join us!" jimin states.

he smiles and sits down next to jungkook. i frown at the action he took and immediately grab him by his wrist, pulling him beside me.

"so, what's up? why are you all starting a bonfire?" he questions, not minding what just happened.

"oh, it's-" jimin starts, but jungkook interrupts him.

"it's because we want you and taehyung to make out," jungkook shrugs, not facing any of us.

seokjin's face flushes red at the statement and i hit jungkook playfully on the arm.

"i was just trying to help, sheesh," he rubbed his arm. i sigh loudly and look at everyone awkwardly. jimin smiles and grabbed a twig laying straight up, poking it out from under a pile of sand. we all watch jimin in curiousity of what he will do.

he draws a heart with two initials planted inside of the unsymmetrical figure on the sand. a 'kth' was written on the top of the heart, while a 'ksj' was written on the bottom.

"damn, i get your message. taehyung's on top of the heart, because he's obviously a top-"

"jungkook, shut up," i say, clicking my tongue afterwards.

the boys and i laugh, while seokjin just awkwardly smiles,"you guys are funny," seokjin lets out a fake laugh.

after that awkward moment, we talked about college while seokjin just smiles at all of us, quietly listening on what we had to say.

"when i graduate, i'll wear two pins on my graduation jacket, one with seokjin's face on it, and the other, a rainbow," i state, smiling.

"you wouldn't," seokjin's smile fades as his mouth forms into a circle, his cheeks dusted with a dark shade of pink.

"who said i wouldn't?" i laugh.

"jungkook and i should probably get some marshmallows, since we have a fire going on right now, y'know?" jimin says, standing up, as he grabs jungkook by his sleeve, "oh! right," the two smiles before hopping away.

"are they dating?" seokjin asks me.

"they should've been by now, i honestly don't know what's stopping them," i rest my elbow on my thigh as i use my palm to support my chin, "come on, let's go!" i stand up and offer my hand to seokjin.

he smiles and our hands intertwine, "you're going too fast!" he giggles, as we both ran around. it was getting darker, and the stars were appearing quite fast. we were walking, the waves softly crashing against my feet, whilst seokjin's were dry, "don't they do this a lot in movies?"

"do they?" i ask and he nods, "well, i'm glad i'm doing this with you."

"me too," seokjin states, giving me a kind smile.
