kim taehyung's pov

"you got his number?" my eyes widen as i look at the paper in jimin's hands, "how?"

"never underestimate my powers, i can be pretty a convincing guy—"

"he just straight up asked for it, don't even waste another second listening to this crackhead," jungkook intervenes, shaking his head.

"hey! who are you calling a crackhead?" jimin shouts, hitting jungkook's shoulder, "try calling me that again and your face will meet my fist!"

"try me midget," jungkook chuckles, "just give him the paper already."

"he needs to give me a few cents first," jimin wiggles his eyebrows, "so what about it?"

"he already paid for our snacks earlier give it to him already."

"fine," jimin puffs out, giving taehyung the paper, "you're no fun."

"should i text him now?" i ask myself, looking down on my phone screen, "no, it's too late right now."

i put my phone on the table and settle myself comfortably on the bottom bunk, "or should i—"

jungkook slams his hand on the wooden structure, "go to sleep."

i gulp, "alright, fine i will."

it was 1:30 am and i couldn't even fall asleep. i tried counting sheep, then puffins, then earrings, but nothing could make my eyes close.

"aish," i mutter quietly, trying not to wake up my friends.

my hand reaches out for my phone and i grip it tightly in my palm. i quickly grab a hoodie and put it on. my eyes looked back at jungkook before leaving my dorm, he was already asleep.

third person's pov

taehyung jogs down the stairs that lead out of the dormatory, the only source of light for him was from the window. the gray moon was glistening on him.

with earplugs in his ears playing a soft jazzy mix, and his cold hands in his pockets, he continues on walking down the long never ending stair case.

it was pretty late, and quite dark, so cameras wouldn't exactly be able to catch him. the cold breeze touches his skin. out on the streets, were cars, and a lot of people. it was what you would call a "new york" moment. even if he didn't live there.

taehyung's eyes lands on a small convience store. it look like it sold noodles, candy, and snacks. with no intention of going anywhere else, he enters. the boy didn't know what to buy, so he just decides to buy a pack of oreos.

he was just about to reach for it, but he sees another hand also reaching out for the same item that he wishes to attain.

"oh! you can have it," the other boy says, scratching his neck.

taehyung's eyes went wide. it was seokjin, his man crush.
