Just This Once

This was one encounter she could not forget about. Even if in faint instances, like remembering when morning came to shoot a text. It took a while, but she wasn't tuckered away in the confines of her mind. But her phone never pinged... What a way to pass her day off. In a short while, she went on.

Cleaning, catching up on homework and papers, binging on series, and chatting it up with a friend or two. The next day would pass quite the same, the routine message inquiring what his tastes were. Was he serious about this date? Where would he be on campus? After all, she'd be there in the early hours. She wondered if she'd see him at the climb, and the thought made her almost fidgety... Was he the source... Why did she still have this crawling feeling...

And she still sent a follow-up message. These were silly things, her gut feeling.

Shota went to bed immediately after Emi left his place. Collapsing on his mattress, he passed out fairly quickly.

Sunlight striking his face, he awoke at half-past nine. It was intriguing how he wasn't affected beforehand since it had been morning for a few hours. Shota got onto his feet and dressed within a manner of seconds. In his usual attire, he stepped out of his apartment structure and wandered to school, taking his time. Money wasn't much of an issue to him, considering his parents were multi-millionaires. Still, he attempted to get every possible opportunity he could on his own.

After stopping for coffee, he realized he never messaged Emi. Fuck. She was going to think he didn't care. Not wanting that, he quickly got out his phone and began messaging her. 'Hey, I don't have to be at school until this afternoon. I don't know when you're free. I'll work around your schedule.' Sent.

It was a lie. Shota did know her schedule. He knew more about her than she probably did about herself. Shota would never confess that, though. She was perfect in every regard, and he was going to make her fall in love with him somehow. He didn't know much about that, though. It would have to be determined later when he analyzed how her personality worked with his.

The pinging of her phone jolted her from the matcha; she'd been nursing for quite some time. Sat in the campus' cafe, her last classes work was splayed out, and her laptop humming; she was relieved none of her tea spilled out on her work, a shaky sigh escaping. Who could this b-- Oh! Shota... She'd dressed the man's bland contact as more appropriate and colorful as the rest, and she was surely satisfied with the results.

'I'm free in the evening until work! Bleh! ;p' She supposed she could call off... But she'll see how things go...

Within an instant, Shota's phone lit up. He didn't even have his phone on its ringtone or on vibrate. It only made things more distracting for everyone else around him. Plus, he didn't need people knowing about his personal life.

Unlocking his phone, he snickered. What was up with that last part? Oh, well. He would deal with it.

'Okay, I'm done with class at three this afternoon. Where would you like to meet?'

Releasing a deep sigh, he proceeded forward to class. It wouldn't be long until they saw each other. Actually, that was a lie. Class would take an eternity knowing that he was supposed to see her later.

That was a good question... Where was a good place to meet? She supposed... Well, the campus entrance could work... Convenient for both of them, undoubtedly! She had time to only pack up her items before she'd dash out for her place. So begins the cycle of what to wear.. Nothing too overwhelming... Enticing... But not over the top. As she filed through her options, she found the one that'd set her straight for the night.

Three o'clock... She kept watching the time, sending a follow-up message. She was ready, slipping into low heels and watching her screen one last time before releasing a shaky breath... Maybe this was the dumbest thing she's done, meeting this man after one occurrence at her strip club, but there sat the possibility of something good. Besides, what would she look like turning him down now?
