Ice prince: A Yuri on ice fan fiction

Chapter four: Getting to know you.

The two princes stayed locked in each others gazes for another moment before the king made a noise that pulled the their attention towards him. Yuri's face was the color of a rose and he kept looking in the direction of Victor who's didn't move his eyes move from Yuri not even once. 

"So may I ask why you are here Prince Victor?" asked the king. He was keeping one eye oh his son. 

"Well your majesty, I was coming here to attend your Royal Ice ball and it seems that it took less time then I thought to get to your fair kingdom." Said Victor who finally turn his attention away from Yuri and was now looking at the king. 

"In that case why don't you and your attendant stay here until the ball. It would be an honor to host you." Said the queen now adding to the conversation. She was was watching Victor as he watched Yuri. "Yuri why don't you and Otabek show prince Victor and his attendant around. Then show to the west wing, they can stay there." The queen added as she noticed that Otabek was looking at Yurio. 

"M...Mom do I have too?" Asked Yuri in a whining tone. He looked at his mom with a pleading face. But one look at his mom's face told him his answer that whether or not he liked it he was going to have to do as his mom said. "Alright mom." Yuri stood up and move away from the thrones towards Victor and Yurio. Otabek was also moving towards them but his steps were quicker and he beat Yuri to them. 

"If you would follow me." Said Otabek once both he and Yuri both were standing near the other men. The four men moved away from the center of the room to the door that where on the far wall. 

After they left the main hall, the king turned to look over at his wife "why did you do that?" 

"I did that because that prince was obviously interested in Yuri. And our son doesn't really have any friends this could be good for him." Replied the queen with an evil smile. 

"I see. You may be right my love." The king grab his wife's hand and kissed it sweetly. 

"I agree with mom. I mean that man ignored me." Said Mari, she decide to finally to make her presence know. 

While this conversation was going Yuri and Otabek where showing Victor and Yurio the castle. They first went to the dinning hall because it was closest to that main hall. The dinning hall was mostly white with silver detailing. Then they moved to ball room it was just like dinning room it was mostly white with silver but this room had some gold and crystal chandlers. The rest of the tour was uneventful and dragged on. 

An hour later they had arrived at the west wing. "So this will be where you are staying." Said Otabek. Yuri hadn't said much the whole tour, he was a shy type of guy. But Victor hasn't taken his eyes off him the whole tour. "May I ask about your luggage?" ask Otabek directing it mostly at Yurio. 

"We are planning to have delivered here soon." Answered Yurio. While he and Otabek continued their conversation, Victor moved closer to Yuri. 

"Your highness would you do me a favor and meet me tonight." Whispered Victor, who was trying not to call the attention of the other two. 

"Why?"  Yuri whispered back he also thought it was best not to draw of the other men. He was rubbing the palm of his hand. Victor move even so closer to Yuri. 

"Because I want to get to know you and I want to learn more about your kingdom." Said Victor who's face was now only a few inches away from Yuri's face. 

"I don't know." Said Yuri has he dropped his eyes to the floor. 

"Please." Said Victor movie his face so that he caught Yuri's gazes. 

"A...Alright." Yuri was now looking directly into victors eyes. 

"Great lets meet in the ball room after dinner." Said Victor as he moved towards the other two men who now we're looking at them.  

"Well now that we are here why don't prince Yuri and I leave you to get settle before dinner." Said Otabek. Then the four of them said there goodbye, then Yuri and Otabek walked away. 

"What the hell was that?" Asked Yurio while crossing his arms.

"I have a date with the prince after dinner." Said Victor with a smile. "And while at said date I can ask him all about this kingdom and its treasure." 

"I guess that makes sense but you flirting is kind of creepy." Said Yurio moving into one of the rooms that was around them. 

"This is my room by the way and don't think that I will be attending to your needs." Yurio opened the door and walked into to room slamming the door behind him. Victor moved into the room next to the one that Yurio had chosen. 

A few hours later everyone gather in the dinner hall and had dinner without anything really interesting happening. The dinner conversation revolved mostly around Victor and Yurio. They told a story that they come up with earlier. Once dinner was over prince Yuri quickly left the room. Victor was a little more calm and moved out of the dinner room and towards the ball room like he didn't have a care in the world. 

Once he enter the ball room he saw Yuri standing next too the glass doors. As the moonlight beam in from the doors on to him, he look ethereal. His black hair shine like a black gem. 

"Your highness" Said Victor to get Yuri's attention. Yuri looked over at Victor with a shy smile. Victor moved over to stand next to Yuri. 

"I was wondering if maybe you would like to take a walk in the garden." Said Yuri.

"I would love too." Said Victor. 

They walked through the doors that they were standing next too. In the garden they walked around the hedges of blue roses. 

"Your highness, may I call you Yuri?" asked Victor. 

"Of course, if I may call Victor?" replied Yuri. 

"It would be an honor." Said Victor as he bowed in Yuri's direction. The two men continued to walk and talk about this and that for another few minutes. Victor decide it was time to get the information that he seek.

"So, Yuri I heard that your kingdom has a great treasure that can control ice and snow. Is that true?" asked Victor. 

"Ah... No its not... We have no treasure that can do that." Said Yuri as he rub his palms together trying to avoid Victors gaze.  

"Is that so." Said Victor, he didn't believe the prince. But he decide not to push any further tonight. He thought that if he were to gain the prince trust maybe he would tell him the truth. "Well I better get some rest and you should as well. Do you mind showing me around the kingdom tomorrow."

Yuri finally looked at Victor and replied "I'm sorry I can't I don't leave the palace. But if would like to talk some more I would love that. Goodnight Victor." As he said goodnight he move away from Victor and back in the diction of the ball room doors.

Victor stood there for a second then moved towards the doors as well. The next day was going to be an interesting one.
