It's been 5 months.

Ever since Roman and Aislyn returned from abandoned building, things were different between them. They were closer.
Aislyn's back healed quick. It didn't break, but it was injured badly. Roman was there in the hospital every second with her. He felt the need to stay with her. She wanted him there.
As usual, Roman used his money to repair the ceiling that Nightwing had tore up. The club was back to normal and Aislyn got out of the hospital. Things were better then ever now that Roman had her by his side.

Often Roman would disappear into the crowds of people in the club, leaving Aislyn questioning if he was with other people entertaining them. She didn't think anything of it, since they were a thing now. She was known.
Everyone knew she was Romans, But sometimes she felt as people thought she was just another pet of his. She was different.

They stayed in the apartment attached to the black mask club, not much, but they liked it. Some nights they would go down to the club at 5am when it was closed, just to roam around and dance together. It was all Aislyn wanted.
Romans men stayed away from him most of the time, now that she was there. He changed his wicked ways over time, leaving behind his crime ego.

The nights felt like they could last forever.

It was a late night on a November. The club was running like usual and Roman was seated with Aislyn on his lap. They laughed and drank with people.

"Who's having a good time?" Roman yelled. Aislyn moved off of Romans lap so he could go entertain the guests. Her short velvet dress matched the couch. As she sat alone with two other men, she watched Roman disappear into the crowd like usual. Typical. The men looked at her. "Out of all the women Sionis could claim," he continued "he choose you." The man had a scar across his face. Aislyn looked over. She wasn't intimidated. "What about it?" She said sternly. "A object like you" he said, "belongs in the streets. You aren't good enough for him. That's Roman Sionis, he needs to focus on his work, not a stupid, little-" Aislyn grabbed the tie on his suit and pulled him across the table towards her. She put on knee on the table and pushed herself up. "Dare talk to me like that," she said, "I'll have you dead myself!" She let go, causing the man to fly backwards. She sat back down, fixing her necklace. Aislyn watched as Roman walked towards her out of the crowd. He clapped his leather gloves together. She smiled sarcastically. "Boys," he said, "would you mind meeting me tonight?" Aislyn raised an eyebrow at them. "S- sure, Sionis." The man with the scar was scared of Sionis. He knew what was going to happen tonight, and if he didn't show, Romans men would find him and he would be dead either way.

The men took off and Roman sat beside Aislyn. Her arms were crossed as she was unsatisfied with what the men had said about her. "Don't listen to them.." Roman said, making a pouty face at her. Sometimes, she did feel like she wasn't good enough, and Roman could be with someone who could deal with the stuff she hadn't. She uncrossed her arm and looked into Romans eyes. She hoped she was good enough. He grabbed her waist and pulled her close. He leaned forward right beside her head. "Anyone who dares disrespects my little doll face, will pay." He whispered into her ear. She smiled. Maybe Roman didn't stop the murderous things he had all along, but it was for her.

The club closed at 4am, Roman and Aislyn made there way to the ally where Roman told the men to meet him. As they walked out the back door, Aislyn started to shiver and Roman noticed. He took off his blazer and put it on her. It covered her so much, it looked like it was the only thing she was wearing. He wrapped his arm around her. She stayed close. Romans men followed, ready. The men walked out of the dark, holding guns in each hand. Romans men held up their weapons, ready to shoot. Roman put Aislyn aside, making sure she was safe. He walked slowly towards them. "Boys!" He yelled. Roman was very enthusiastic when it came to life and death situations. "Lets make a deal.." Roman barked. The men stood their ground. "What's this game?" The man with the scar said. "You-". Roman stopped, not knowing what distraction he could think of, he pulled his pistol, shooting the man with the scar before he could. The other man attempted to shoot Sionis, but Romans men got to him first. Both body's lay on the concrete, bleeding out.

Roman gestured Aislyn to walk back with him inside. "Dispose the body's." Roman ordered. The men walked towards the body's and picked them up, carrying them away. Roman and Aislyn walked back inside. The men got what they deserved.
